“(In the Lead) has been a positive thing in my life because it gave me hope and belief that I have a future, and that I am a good person.”

what young leaders had to say:

“This experience was different – my coach didn’t try to fix me like other adults who say they want to help me. He accepted me for who I am.”

what young leaders had to say:

“I didn’t think anyone really cared – He did and he is my friend.”

what young leaders had to say:

“I have learned things about myself that I never thought possible and I’m a better person and employee as a result.”

what coaches had to say:

“I have learned a lot about what it means to care for others by just being there with them with no agenda. These youth do not want to be fixed – they just want to be valued...”

what coaches had to say:

“The youth changed my life – I’m different and I like it.”
