Each one of the three exclusive villas embodies supreme three-bedroom luxury, with private swimming pools, gardens and separate entrances, designed and furnished in cool, contemporary interpretations of Mauritian style. The living areas are light and relaxed, with high vaulted wood ceilings. Villas have the latest technology multimedia entertainment and business systems. Each has two master King bedrooms, with a third Queen bedroom behind. Bathrooms have stupendous bathtubs and lead out to private walled garden with outdoor waterfall showers and daybeds. These suites are modern, cool and contemporary with design features inspired by the tropics. Large bay windows bring a changing light to the rooms as the day progresses.

Frangipani Junior Suites feature designer style furniture, with flat screen TVs and egg-shaped baths. Hibiscus Junior Suites are classical in style.

ocean SuiTeS6 Ocean Suites (126m² incl. balcony/terrace). Light and spacious, Ocean Suites have a cool and contemporary feel, with a separate lounge, private dining room and two secluded terraces leading off the master bedroom. They may interconnect to an adjacent Junior Suite and are perfect for families.

Ile aux Cerfs

paul eT ViRginie & SanDS BaR During a day of watersports or relaxing on the beach, lunch is provided by Paul et Virginie, a barefoot restaurant serving lightly grilled, fried or steamed local fish, seafood, pizzas and simple Mauritian dishes like palm-heart salad. Open lunch and afternoon (12pm to 3pm).

Sands Bar serves a selection of drinks, light lunch dishes and snacks. Open (9am to 5pm).

MaSala ReSTauRanTnestled in a thatched kiosk on the hillside of Ile aux Cerfs, Masala Restaurant offers authentic Indian specialties, Thali-style.

langeR’S gRill & BaRThe restaurant and bar offers panoramic views of the course, the ocean and the distant mountains of Mauritius. It specialises in fresh fish and seafood as well as deliciously grilled fresh produce. Open all day (7am to sunset).

Ilot MangénIe

cRuSoe’S ReSTauRanT & RoBinSon’S BaR On this romantic ‘desert island’, Crusoe’s offers wonderful fresh fish, a salad bar and pizzas. Open for lunch (12am to 3pm).

Robinson’s Bar is the place to taste a selection of home-made rums served by Mr. Robinson himself, friendly Governor of Ilot Mangénie. Open daytime (10am to 4pm).

RESTAuRAnTS AnD BARSthe MaInland

ThRee-nine-eighTThe main dining room on three different levels presents cuisines of nine countries in a ‘culinary theatre’ of eight show kitchens. These include a continental rotisserie and grill, contemporary Asian and Italian corners, an extensive salad bar, a centrally located patisserie section and bakery. Open for breakfast (7 to 10.30am) and dinner (7 to 10pm).

BaRlen’SOn the shore of Trou d’Eau Douce bay, this restaurant and bar is built from wood and thatch with an Asian-inspired interior. The relaxed menu includes sushi, Western chargrills, Japanese grills and salads and local specialities. Open for lunch and dinner. Closed on Sunday evenings.

SafRanThis enchanting restaurant presents modern interpretations of classic Indian cuisine. The focal point is the open kitchen with tandoori ovens producing varieties of Indian bread, appetisers and main courses. Open for dinner only (7 to 10pm). Closed on Wednesdays.

Sega BaRSituated in the middle of the main pool, serving light refreshments, tropical cocktails and a wide variety of whiskies.

Beach SeRViceLight snacks and refreshing beverages are served on the beach. Available all day (7.30am to sunset).

SPA AnD WELLnESS

giVenchy SpaThis Leading Givenchy Spa is a temple dedicated to beauty, health and serenity using special Givenchy products developed by LVMH Group laboratories. Treatments are provided by expert therapists selected and trained by Givenchy. Open daily (8.30am to 8.30pm).

haiRDReSSing SalonThe Hairdressing Salon provides services and care of the highest standards in hair æsthetics for both gentlemen and ladies. Open daily (10am to 8pm).

SPORTS AnD LEISuRE

fiTneSS cenTReThe Fitness Centre provides sophisticated personal training, stretching sessions, programmes for swimming, aquatic exercise, tennis and golf. A jogging partner is also available on request. use of equipment is free of charge, with a fee for personal trainer services. Open daily (7am to 8pm).

lanD SpoRTSThe tennis club, with four floodlit courts, is affiliated to the Advance Team Academy with experienced and qualified instructors.

The resort has bocciball, jogging track, volleyball, aqua-gym lessons, archery, badminton, football, yoga and tai-chi. Further afield there are nature trails and cycling.

Ile aux Cerfs

golfLe Touessrok Golf Course is an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course designed by Bernhard Langer. There is also a Golf Academy, which offers a state-of-the-art teaching and practice facility.

WaTeR SpoRTS coMpliMenTaRyFacilities include canoes, kayaks, laser sailing, dinghies, sailing boats, pedal boats, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, unlimited water-skiing and windsurfing.

KIDS AnD TEEnS

‘T-Club’ is free for all children from 4-11 years. In its own large and well-equipped clubhouse, it provides exciting and imaginative fun programmes and activities. Children can enjoy golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimming clinics. There are also excursions with a focus on educational enrichment.

Dinnertime is always a special occasion with a wide selection of menus.

Babysitters – available at extra charge – are required for children of 2 and 3 years, unless accompanied by a parent. Open daily (10am-10pm).

The teen’s club is free to 12-17 year-olds. They can meet new friends from around the world in a safe and fun environment and enjoy activities including sports, excursions, outings, discos and theme evenings.

COnFEREnCES AnD MEETInGS

The Orchid Room and the Jasmine Room each accommodate up to 100 people seated theatre-style or 60 people classroom-style and can be partitioned for breakaway meetings. The Jasmine Room is situated above the Orchid Room.
