1. Nylon 12 precision-molded into bodies to form tees, 90° elbows and unions.2. O-ring seals the threaded base into the fitting body.3. Shows full flow capacity of fitting in relation to the I.D. of tubing.4. Tube insert which reinforces the slotted collet’s grip on the tubing O.D.5. Cutaway of tubing showing the tubing and insert’s I.D. in relation to the fitting’s I.D.6. O-ring seals on the tubing O.D. This O-ring makes an instant seal immediately upon receiving the tubing.7. Slotted collet – the mechanism locking the tubing into the fitting.8. Sleeve – the housing for the slotted collet whose inside configuration is beveled to match the outside

configuration of the slotted collet. When pressure (or vacuum) is introduced into the system, the collet and tubing move slightly backward, the slotted collet is compressed and causes the sharp gripping ridges, machined into it, to bite into the tubing’s O.D. The greater the pressure, the stronger the grip.

9. Push the plastic tubing into the fitting and there is an instant, permanent connection with a 100% seal.10. Gripping ridges which lock the components into the fitting body.11. Threaded base – available in 1/16" to 1/2" NPT.
