1. CHICA DE JOUDES - Climbed the class ladder well last season. Has been impressive since her return this year and was by no means disgraced in the G.I Prix de Selection. On the front line and a serious prospect

2. VERRAZANO BRIDGE - Recently made his long-awaited comeback following an extended absence. Stays shod and no threat

3. JETSET - Not the most reliable. Has twice failed to confirm her good second at Vincennes early last month and with shoes on can be passed over

4. BARRY DE COURTISON - Shows much better aptitude for the other specialty and will have few takers

5. ALLIANCE DE CHENU - Good dual-purpose sort that pleased on her only

appearance here but has just one race under her belt and others preferred

6. ACCORDEON - Unplaced in three of his last four at the venue and unlikely to shake things up on just second start since the break

7. AMOUR DU LOUP - Not the most reliable but left a good impression in a G.III last week and should not be ignored

8. URSA CAF - Serious Italian raider making her French debut. Can prove tricky but if fully fit and applied could get a look in

9. VIKING DE TREMAHOU - Completely lost his way over the past year. Is unshod behind for return to harness racing but will pose no danger

10. ALAMO DU GOUTIER - Exceptionally consistent type that boasts an enviable record over past 15 months and even though shod is still a leading contender

11. CLARA DU PONTSEUIL - Has significantly better aptitude for the other specialty. Never figured last week in the GNT and can be ruled out

12. VENOSC DE MINEL - Good consistent sort for the most part. In the frame in his last three and should again finish in the mix

13. UNBRIDLED CHARM - Classy veteran that is still going strong. Tends to go well over these longer trips and can be counted on for a competitive effort

14. COQUIN BEBE - Erratic but is placed at the highest level. Will be fully fit by now and with hind shoes off this time can make a big splash

15. ADELIA DE MELODIE - Respectable sort at this level and recently reassured in a Class D at Caen but appears to be facing a stiff test

16. VIKING DE VAL - Previously a decent sort but has raced just once in past 15 months

17. ALPHA SALTOR - Considerably better horse in the other code and has no realistic chance

18. CYPRIEN DES BORDES - High-class campaigner in the other branch of the game. Is no slouch under harness but the 50m penalty will do him no favours

Summary

(1) CHICA DE JOUDES has gone from strength to strength over the past year and starting on the front row looks the pick of the field. (14) COQUIN BEBE is 25m worse off but will be fit and unshod behind and with Bazire back in the sulky should be in a position to apply the pressure. (10) ALAMO DU GOUTIER is a model of consistency and will justifiably be well-backed. (13) UNBRIDLED CHARM returns to a more suitable distance and can also play a role. The regular (12) VENOSC DE MINEL is a good finisher and should not be far off the mark at the business end of the race.

1. CENTURION JARZEEN - Last made the frame in July 2016 and has no realistic chance

2. ADIOS AMIGO - Respectable of late in the claiming division under harness. Makes ridden debut and others preferred

3. CHRIS D'OCCAGNES - Has ability but never easy to gauge. Hind shoes off for first start for eight months and the front-line break will do his chances no disservice

4. CHAMARA DE GUEZ - Regularly in the mix when applied. Currently enjoying a good run and the nature of last month's ridden debut augurs well for her chances

5. AMI - Unseen under the saddle since the summer but has decent aptitude. Unlikely to be at peak fitness though and others preferred this time

6. BIG KAISER - Just the second start in this code but has shown potential. Breaks from the front line and could open his account

7. CELUI DES ROMAINS - Temperamental sort that has been plagued by stride problems and can expect to have few friends

8. CARAVELLE - Won over the distance on her only start at the venue. On the second line here but can still get a look in

9. CREPUSCULE FORGAN - Back in business following some modest efforts. Flew up at Pont-Chateau a fortnight back and even on the second line must be respected

10. ALBERTINO - Handy sort but has been off since last October and will need the outing

11. DANIEL BON - Good class of trotter that seldom disappoints when barefoot and at this level must be considered a serious prospect

12. BERLIOZ GRIFF - Consistent type that finished second in a Class F here last month and although on the second row this time should still play an important role

Summary

(6) BIG KAISER left a very good impression on his only ridden start. He breaks from the front here and in current form could well get off the mark. He will nonetheless be up against the reinvigorated (4) CHAMARA DE GUEZ who is back at the top of her game. (9) CREPUSCULE FORGAN is 25m worse off here but he has been solid in his last two and the nature of his Pont-Chateau victory bodes well for his chances. (11) DANIEL BON drops significantly in class and with application could prove the joker in the pack.

1. AIGRETTE - Has a good record over track and trip but in present form can be written off

2. ANGEL D'OR - Winner of all three races he has finished this year and latterly over course and distance. In similar form could well repeat

3. BENOIT ROYAL - Dependability not his strong suit but flew up in a Class F at Saint-Brieuc ten days ago. Incurs no penalty this time and must be respected

4. ARMADA BUROISE - Has made good progress since the start of the year. Pleased over shorter at Caen nine days ago and must not be overlooked

5. URANUS TEPOL - Out of the first three for the past ten months and can be written off

6. BAMBI DE BRY - Complicated type that seldom disappoints and can play a role if he can keep his action together

7. UNO PONT VAUTIER - Unplaced in all three since returning from a long layoff and will have nothing to give

8. ALBANIEN - Useful on a good day but out of the picture in last four and must find more

9. VALASCO D'IM - Fine trotter that is confirmed under these conditions but lost his way before the break and will labour to make his mark

10. AUBADE CARISAIE - Sporadically produces a good effort. Gets a Matthieu Abrivard drive this time and with shoes off for the occasion can shake things up

11. VERMOUTH DES PRES - Looked to be getting back in shape but unplaced in last two and needs to raise his game

12. VIOLETTE DE MONE - Not the most productive in this branch of the game but is in form and with shoes off looks capable of getting a look in

13. AREZZO VICI - Moderate sort that has struggled since the autumn and can be confidently ruled out

14. BE UNLIMITED - Useful type with a decent record at Laval. Unraced since late November but should still put in a competitive performance

15. AGITATEUR - Useful in both codes but has been struggling in both since the summer and must reaffirm

16. AVERTIN BELRI - Has an excellent entry here but has done nothing of note for some time and can be written off

(2) ANGEL D'OR has been nothing short of impressive since the turn of the year and after winning smartly here last week looks eminently capable of repeating. (10) AUBADE CARISAIE may not be to everyone's liking but is barefoot with a top driver in the wagon and can get back down to business. (14) BE UNLIMITED is returning but likes Laval and in this company has a decent chance of going close. (3) BENOIT ROYAL showed his form at Saint-Brieuc recently and is expected to give another solid account. (4) ARMADA BUROISE is making good progress and will also have her supporters.

1. BACCARAT DES LOGES - Appears to have found his niche at this level. Stays shod but should not be far off the mark

2. BLUE DU LOUVET - Complicated type but got straight down to business on comeback late last month and with application will have his chances

3. ADELESSE DELGY - Useful type in this class but off the track since mid-October and unlikely to shake things up

4. BEL ANTOINE - Faithful campaigner that impressed on comeback at Strasbourg on Sunday and backs up with a decent chance of picking up some stake-money

5. BLUE CHIP ECUS - Has failed to make it around unscathed in last three. Second start back and not easy to trust

6. A BORD D'ISQUES - Seldom gets his head in front but regularly gives his best. Minor place chance at most though

7. BALZAC DU CLOS - Blows hot and cold but is confirmed in the category. Starts on the front line and must be afforded respect

8. BECASSE DU BUISSON - Respectable mare but has not been seen out since the autumn and is unlikely to influence the result

9. APACHE FOSCA - Pleased in three of four this year. Finished third in a similar event at Vincennes two weeks ago and even though on the second row this time will still have his supporters

10. BEOWULF D'OLYQUER - Delicate sort that tends to show more on turf. Unraced since early October and no chance

11. ASCOT BARBES - Previously a respectable sort but has not raced since October 2015. Front shoes off first back though and should not be underestimated

12. ABEL - Has failed to recapture any semblance of form since his long layoff and can be ruled out

13. VIVE LE LOUFIAT - Much better horse in the other code and in current shape already looks an also-ran

14. BAXTER STREET - Somewhat erratic but won a class E smartly last month and although 25m worse off this time still looks a player

15. VIRGINIA RUSH - Seldom fails to fire in the amateur category but the back-line start does her prospects no favours

16. VALBERT DE WALDAM - Remarkably consistent trotter that has won his last twelve starts. Renders 50m this time but given how well he won at La Capelle last week can make it a baker's dozen

Summary

(16) VALBERT DE WALDAM is a veritable metronome that keeps on adding victories to his tally. He won with authority at La Capelle last time and although giving away 50m on this occasion can nonetheless prevail. (14) BAXTER STREET drops back in class following a facile win at Pont-Chateau and starting 25m in front stands him in good stead. After a disappointing effort late January (7) BALZAC DU CLOS finds himself on the first line here and looks to have a good hand to play. (11) ASCOT BARBES is unshod in front after a long layoff and could add a little spice to the mix. (1) BACCARAT DES LOGES has a good record at this level and cannot be discounted.

1. FATALE DE BOUERE - Untried sort that did everything right in qualification but best to monitor first time out

2. FIONA MAZA - Racecourse debutante from a top stable. Pleased in qualification and in this company will have a part to play

3. FLEUR DU CAIEU - Unraced filly that qualified respectably last summer. Has had time to come into herself and should not be ignored

4. FUTEE DE CAREL - Disqualified two for two but is not without merit and will have her supporters

5. FLEUR CROWN - Looked rather ordinary on debut late February and will have a lot more to find

6. FLORA QUICK - Pleased on debut before losing her action at Chartres earlier in the month but can play a leading role if she can get off on the right foot

7. FALBALA VICI - Made no impact whatever on harness debut early December. Off since and no threat

8. FLORIDE STED - Left a decent impression at Nantes last time following a brace of sanctions and if behaved will have her chances

9. FRANCE DU BOUILLON - Began to make good on her promise when third at Cholet ten days ago and must be respected

10. FUSION DIVINE - Yet to show any great aptitude. Sanctioned on only start here and must raise her game

11. FIBULE DU VIVIER - Has begun to show improvement and can make her presence felt if she can stay in stride

12. FREIZH D'HERMINE - Delicate sort making her first start since late November but if applied could get a look in

Summary

The nicely-bred (6) FLORA QUICK showed hints of talent in both racecourse appearances so far. She gets a Gelormini drive this time and with application can open her account. Stablemate (2) FIONA MAZA did everything right in qualification and if as good in competition will be no pushover. (11) FIBULE DU VIVIER's progress has been hampered by stride problems but on good behaviour will have her chances. Nivard debuts (3) FLEUR DU CAIEU and in this modest bunch can play a part.

3. SILVERADO LUX - Tough type with very good aptitude for the specialty. Drops back in class and should have a good hand to play

4. BILL PLEASE - Tough mare that did not displease on comeback at Vincennes and should not be too far off the mark this time

5. AZUR DE CARINA - Useful sort when applied but lacklustre on re-entry three weeks ago and has a lot more to find

6. VOISEAU SMILING - Has endured a catastrophic run over the past 18 months and can be written off

7. VICTOIRE DE COSSE - Regularly acquits herself honourably in this code but a minor place chance at best here

8. COCO DE ROCHA - Has been very hard to fault in this code all season. Benefits from a weight advantage and should impose

9. THIS IS IT - Not the most dependable but has considerable talent. Pleased on only appearance under the saddle and with a top jockey on board could pick up a cheque

10. ARIANE D'AND - Has done nothing to write home about since January 2017 and will have no realistic chance

11. ANGE KARLANN - Boasts a superb record in this code and under these conditions can make a big impact

12. ABO STAR - Made a respectable return at Cordemais last week but still has his work cut out

13. ACTEUR DU HAMEL - Is proven at the venue but has been off the boil since the autumn and must reaffirm

14. COFFEE D'OSTAL - Serious trotter that failed to fire in Paris recently but is barefoot for the first time and should make amends

15. BARON DU BOURG - Never easy to knock when unshod. Is currently in excellent shape and can make the frame

16. VEDETTE AMERICAINE - Modest individual and not easy to like in this code. No threat

17. PRIMULA BRAZZA - Returns from a spell. Here for conditioning reasons and can be passed over

18. BEPPE AM - Blows hot and cold but has ample talent. Makes his ridden debut unshod all four and with Matthieu Abrivard on board must be respected

(8) COCO DE ROCHA has been in cracking form at Vincennes since the start of the meeting. He goes barefoot again and the weight advantage should give him the edge over (14) COFFEE D'OSTAL who goes barefoot for the first time in a bid to redeem himself for his recent clinker. (15) BARON DU BOURG has nothing to prove at this level and with hind shoes off this time also looks a player. (11) ANGE KARLANN rarely disappoints under the saddle - he comes here fresh and with a legitimate chance of making the frame. The talented (18) BEPPE AM gets his first crack at this code and with a top jockey on board can be assured a competitive ride.

1. EMISSORO - Trotter with obvious ability. Faces a decent bunch here but is barefoot for the occasion and will have his supporters

2. ECLAIR DE CERIZE - Just once out of the first five so far. Pleased two weeks ago on return at Pont-Chateau and has every chance of picking up a cheque here

3. EXTRA DU CHATELET - In the thick of things for the most part. Drops slightly in category and should figure prominently

4. EPICURIEN - Occasionally shows hints of ability but unlikely to shake things up following his break

5. EASY DE BEAULIEU - Useful but delicate. Out of the picture in last four though and must raise her game

6. ENCANTO - Still chasing that elusive first win and no chance of changing her maiden status after a five-months' layoff

7. ESPRIT MYSTIC - Consistently gave a good account last season but unraced since July and will need the outing

8. ECLAIRCIE D'ATOUT - Still a maiden from 14. Has shown improvement of late but insufficient to warrant much support

9. EDDY DU VIVIER - Highly impressive last year with three wins from four. Was not disgraced on re-entry a fortnight back and if fully fit can win this

10. ELISSI JAMES - Delicate but otherwise not once out of the first. A good second at Enghien first start back and should give another competitive account

11. ENA JOSSELYN - Previously a good type but produced four modest efforts over the winter and will have few takers

12. EQUIN D'AVRIL - Moderate sort that has not been raced for over three months and best left alone this time

13. EN TOI J'ESPERE - Solid since his first steps on the track. Left a very good impression at Enghien three weeks ago and looks a player once more

14. EXCITING ELLA - Kicked her career off well but form tailed off. Abrivard in charge for her second start of the year but still not an obvious choice

15. EVEREST DE BLARY - Has struggled to recapture last season's form and must get his house in order

16. ENERGIE D'ECHAL - Decent class of filly but has been off since late summer. Has a good entry though and should not be overlooked

Summary

(9) EDDY DU VIVIER won three of the four races he ran last year and although unplaced on comeback late last month should be fully fit by now and can get back to winning ways. (3) EXTRA DU CHATELET is seldom far from the action and the marginal drop in class will serve his purposes well. (13) EN TOI J'ESPERE has been solid in recent months and should be able to make the first three once more. The delicate (10) ELISSI JAMES produced a fine effort on comeback and although up against the boys this time will have her chances. (2) ECLAIR DE CERIZE similarly put on a good show late last month and must be afforded respect.

4. DANDY SOMOLLI - Modest individual that has done nothing noteworthy for some time and can be written off

5. DENICHEUR DU VIF - On an excellent run in recent months and although shod this time can still play a role

6. DJESON D'ARIANE - Has just once shown any aptitude for harness racing and unlikely to shake things up

7. DREXEL - Dependability not his strong suit but has ample talent and if focused can impose

8. DOLLY QUEEN - Solid in her last four starts. Up against the boys here but can still get a look in

9. D'ARTAGNAN DU PONT - Substantially better horse in the other code and can be ruled out

10. DEDICACE ROC - Has looked a different horse since going unshod. Surprisingly sanctioned at Enghien last time but can make amends

11. DOMINO DE LUNE - Yet to get fully back into his stride but does not give away 25m this time and should not be ignored

12. DELICE ANGEVIN - Delicate but has not disappointed when applied lately and on good behaviour can go close

13. DEFI DREAM - Blows hot and cold but is no slouch and should generate some interest

14. DIANE DE JANZE - Has been in good shape since her return. Sanctioned when full of running last time and on good behaviour will have her chances

(7) DREXEL may not be the most reliable horse in the field but is the only one barefoot here and given the opposition could have his way. Principal resistance should come from the useful (12) DELICE ANGEVIN provided he can keep his action together. (5) DENICHEUR DU VIF's current form is not in doubt and although racing shod this time can still make her mark in this modest gathering.

(14) DIANE DE JANZE has been in fine shape of late and if applied should not be far from the action.

6. DIVINE LADY - Surprise winner over course and distance last week and will not be available at 37-1 this time around

7. DON JUAN DU CANTER - Showed a different side to himself when a close runner-up to (14) DIABLE DU VIVIER a fortnight ago and must be retained

8. DRUSS DE GUEZ - Ended last season on a double but is shod for his re-entry and will not be given a hard race

9. DIAGHILEV - Boasts 6 wins from 11 career starts. Won well at Vincennes last month and should again make a big impact

10. DUNE DU CHENAIS - Considerably better mare when barefoot. Has just one race in her and not a realistic proposition

11. DIVINE ACTION - Has ample ability but it has not been on show lately and others preferred

12. DAKTARI DE JOUDES - Put in two fine efforts before acquitting himself well in better company at Vincennes late January. Comes here fresh and in this ordinary bunch looks the pick

13. DREAM BACK - Delicate but otherwise a very good campaigner. Unraced for four months though and best to monitor

14. DIABLE DU VIVIER - Got back in the game when winning at Mauquenchy two weeks ago and a similar effort would see him go close again

Summary

(12) DAKTARI DE JOUDES can occasionally prove something of a handful but he has solid references at this level and after a short breather can get straight back in the game. He can nonetheless expect to meet opposition from the talented (9) DIAGHILEV who legitimately bids for the hat-trick. (14) DIABLE DU

VIVIER showed great courage to win at Mauquenchy two weeks ago and in similar form will have a say in the outcome here. (5) DROOPY DELADOU has been particularly solid lately and can make the frame.

5. EX FAN DES SIXTIES - A faller in two of her five races but a winner and placed in the other two and has plenty ability

6. SPRING RISK - Third in four of her six career starts over hurdles but a stiff test on chase debut

Summary

A winner over hurdles here last September (1) IRALSA won a chase at Pau in December before being runner up to the useful Elegant Star there in January. She is the selection to return to winning ways here today. (2) L'AUBADE and (3) CICALINA both have decent winning form and must be respected here. (5) EX FAN DES SIXTIES is next best.

6. TAGADA TAGADA BEY - Well beaten sixth in a maiden at Saint-Brieuc in her sole career start last November

7. LITTLE ISLAND - By Martaline and is a half sister to the dual Listed hurdle winner Isle Enchantee

8. FEARLESS LADY - By Cokoriko and will be the second foal to run out of a dam that was unraced

9. NEVER ADAPT - By Anabaa Blue and is the fifth foal to run out of a dam that has produced three winners

10. SAGANESHA ROSETGRI - Has shown little in four starts on the flat to suggest that she will be a factor

11. MELODIE D'AUTEUR - By Authorized and is a half sister to the Grade Three hurdle winner Salsa Melody

12. VALLEE DE SEINE - By Youmzain and will be the second foal to run out of a dam that was a maiden after four starts

13. NO RISK NO GAME - By No Risk At All and is a half sister to the Listed chase winner Malino

14. CARADREAM - By Dream Well and is the first foal to run out of a dam that won one from eleven

Summary

In a race where the newcomers will likely dominate betting a chance is taken on the Macaire trained (9) NEVER ADAPT a full sister to a winner on the flat and who is sure to be well schooled for her hurdling debut. (11) MELODIE D'AUTEUR and (13) NO RISK NO GAME are both well related and cannot be ruled out. (8) FEARLESS LADY is next best.

4. ELECTRON BLEU - Best career run to date when second to Excel Quiz Tauel in a chase at Pau last month

5. EDENIUM - Won a claiming chase at Cagnes in January but faces better opposition here today

9. ESPOIR ROYAL - Has shown glimpses of ability over hurdles but well beaten on chase debut at Auteuil in November

Runner up behind Gryffichop in a chase here last November (3) CONFUCEEN was then second to the useful Bounwell at Cagnes in December. He is the selection to go one better today and break his maiden tag. The Macaire pair (1) ECUME DU LARGE and (2) ARDCROSS were both winners over hurdles last time out and must be respected on their chase debuts. (9) ESPOIR ROYAL is next best.

4. EMILIE KAP - Won two valuable contests at Cagnes in December 2016 and signs of a return to form again lately

5. ESPOIR DE BELLOUET - Good win over hurdles at Fontainebleau last month and has a decent chance here today

6. COTE D'AZUR - Just the five runs to date and she did win two of those but others preferred now

7. MR GALLIVANTER - Good strike rate with nine from thirty six but has been in poor form on the flat lately

8. SHAKAPON - Had not run since May of 2016 before fourth over hurdles at Fontainebleau last month

7. SAINT PALOIS - Grand servant with eleven wins from thirty two including last time out at Bordeaux-Le-Bouscat. Very big shout

8. A MI MANERA - Has won half of her ten runs and is currently on a hat trick after great end to last year. Sets the standard

Summary

(8) A MI MANERA sets the standard here. She has been victorious in half of her ten outings and finished out last season in splendid style and if anything seems to be on the improve still.(7) SAINT PALOIS also has a big hit rate and will be anything but a pushover. (1) CAPIVARI and (2) GOLDEN CHOP might chase home at a respectable distance.

5. TENERIFE SEA - Runner up in the last two of five outings but there is still more needed

6. QUEEN OF FORTUNE - Finished second to the likely favourite for this last time out at Pau but could place again

7. ELUDY - Placed in both her starts last September and will need to show marked improvement

8. BUCK'S BAHKBOOK - In the frame in both her hurdles starts at Cagnes-sur-Mer and will strike some day

9. REGINA DE PAIL - Just average form in her four outings and will need to improve on those to figure

10. IRNOVA HAS - Placed in the first two of her three runs and could be more of a handicapping project

11. CLEA DE BOISTRON - Very poor form in her four starts and is a simple chuck out for this too

(1) EVIDENCE ALLEN is a very nice sort indeed and having shown bundles of promise in her first two starts late last year duly got it spot on with an authoritative victory at Fontainebleau on her final start. 6. ALSYLAL DOLOIS - Surprised when third beaten seven lengths by **(NF) PRESTISSIMA** last November at Saint-Cloud. Has done nothing of note since then

7. GOLDEN GLITTER - Has posted three poor efforts last year and is unlikely to influence the outcome

4. PIWI CHOP - Won well last time in very heavy ground at Nantes. Has a six pounds penalty to defy

5. ZORRA CHOPE - Is zero from twenty nine but back to a bit of form last two times out so there is hope

6. GOLDEN LAW - Is a maiden after eighteen starts and looks to have his work cut out

7. THATS NOTALL FOLKS - Has not won a race for a long time. Off since end of December and others are preferred

8. PEINTRE FRANCAIS - Disappointed last start but a on workable mark and should not be underrated

9. JUST FOR LOVE - Ended last season on a low note and is unlikely to garner much support on comeback run

10. MINIKING - Never a factor in six starts last season and is unlikely to trouble the judge

11. SPRING CONCERT - Beaten a long way on comeback race at Mont de Marsan and has too much to find

13. BITTERSWEAT - Registered a career best effort at Pornichet last time when finishing fourth of 14 in a claimer. Can place with further progress

14. MAX ATTACK - Won over course and distance on return to action last year. Four pounds better off today and looks interesting

7. LINDA'S CAP - Modest recent form on fibresand and switch to turf is unlikely to improve things

8. SOULSIDE - Erratic but can pop-in occasionally. Competitive off this mark. Outside chance

9. BONNE REPONSE - Has done nothing of note since April 2016 and cannot be worth much consideration
