Proven Performer: Assist the gym owner and team coaches in the advancement of performance for the regular students as well as the team students in normal and specialized skills. This includes light spotting, heavy spotting, educating students in the use of equipment, proper care of equipment, explanation of skills thoroughly, using proper skill advancement techniques to ensure a safe and fun environment that is conducive to learning.

o Operate Highly Complex Gymnasium Equipment: Balance Beams, Uneven Bars, Duel Even Bars, Tumble Tracks, Trampolines (competitive grade), Double-Mini Trampolines, Spring Rod Floors, Flat Mats, Stationary Hexagon Barrels, Wedge Mats, Foam Pits, and more.

o Knowledgeable in CPR, Safety, and First Aid. Educate or monitor the students regarding safety procedures, knowledge of the equipment,

and competitive skill information.o Selected to teach Level 1 – Level 6 skills and competitive routines as well as assisting

in the set up and flow of a competition.

Attention to Detail: Scanning the gym for unsafe and potentially dangerous/compromising situations, along with reading through student’s files and spending time learning student’s to place them in the correct level class and to adjust their learning environment to fit their skill set and abilities as well as their desired development outcome.

o Develop program plans per student group abilities and skillset.o Observe students abilities for any potential growth and advancement.o Implement proper non-emergency or emergency measures after identifying minor or

intermediary injuries the students may have incurred.o Care for students that have special needs and may be on one or multiple medications.o Care for stable and non-stable students, individualizing the program for each student,

and growing the program with them and for them. Selected as an on-call alternate for over-night camps and minor office work. (As needed).

o Manage the care and well-being of 15 to 40 student’s over-night in the gymnasium.
