Learned set-up and implementation of advance pieces of technology including Armeo, FES bike, Bioness, Madonna ICare, Balance Master, and Zero G. Developed and performed aquatic therapy treatment interventions. Orthopedic: ReQuest Physical Therapy; Gainesville, FL; July 2016 - Aug. 2016 Evaluated and treated individuals with various diagnoses including spondylolisthesis, psoriatic arthritis, calcific tendonitis, Parkinson Disease, and myelopathy. Implemented Postural Restoration techniques to promote postural alignment and diaphragmatic breathing. Delivered in-service presentation on effective interventions for calcific tendonitis of the rotator cuff. Outpatient Neuro: NeuroFit360; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; May 2016 - June 2016 Treated individuals with various neurological impairments and diagnoses including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Volunteered at Wings for Life World Run to promote awareness and raise money for individuals with spinal cord injury. Delivered in-service presentation on non-pharmacological strategies to decrease spasticity in the neurological population. Delivered in-service presentation on non-pharmacological strategies to decrease agitation in patients with altered mental status.
