1. Check eligibility to apply
2. Carry out self assessment
3. Identify and approach two sponsors
4. Complete initial application form
5. Submit Professional Review Report
6. Attend Professional Review Interview

Final Advice…….
1. Read through the guidance thoroughly before starting your application
2. Use your CPD log to generate ideas on what specific examples you could talk about in the professional review report
3. Complete the report in sections, making notes under each of the competences to get started and adding examples when they come to mind
4. Get yourself a mentor to help guide you through the professional registration process
5. Make sure you give a few good, detailed examples of how you meet each competence using S.T.A.R. – don’t just list the things you do
6. At the interview bring examples of your work to help showcase your experience
7. Speak to others who have been through the process and seek advice
