The Houghton Feast 2015 Design a Logo competition is open to all school children attending a School/Youth Group in the Houghton-le-Spring district, in School

year groups 1 to 6. One winning design will be chosen from entries and used in the commemorative Houghton Feast 2015 brochure and publicity materials.

Pupils must have permission of their parents/guardians or school to enter the competition. The winning pupil’s first name, year group and the school name will

appear alongside the winning artwork. In the interests of safeguarding, the winner’s surname will not be used unless a parent/guardian gives consent. Logo and

submitted entries will remain the property of and copyright of Houghton Heritage Society. Original artwork cannot be returned. This logo competition will close

on Friday May 1st 2015. Judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Entries must fit within the box (13.5 x 12 cm) on the template (which can be photocopied). Designs should be as colourful as possible and must be based on the

Gilpin Boar Crest, Houghton Feast and the theme of Festival of Light.

Houghton Feast 2015 starts on Friday October 2nd until Sunday October 11th 2015.
