Black Diamond Radio Black Diamond FM is running a free 4 week basic course in Radio Skills starting on Wednesday 20 th January The course will run on Wednesday evenings from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start at Newbattle Community Centre, Newtongrange. The station will introduce you to radio with a mixture of tips and hands-on experience on our training desk, which is a mirror of the one in use in the radio studio. We welcome anyone over 16 years of age for this course. The following events will be on offer: Hurdles, 60m 1500m Runs, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and Pole Vault. Athletes will have to make the entry requirement to compete. If you are interested please attend a short meeting on Tuesday 12 th Jan at interval in the PE department.
