Engineering Foundation Student Programme
Training is primarily based at Edinburgh College, Midlothian. Applicants should demonstrate the following:
•Be self motivated with the ability to problem solve•Have the ability to generate continuous improvement as part of own self development•Have the ability to communicate effectively with others•Be aged 16-18 and able to demonstrate an interest in following a career in engineering•Have, or expect to gain, a minimum of 2 National 4/5 s or equivalent qualifications in English, Maths and/or a Science subject.

S6 Volunteers
S6 Volunteers needed to help out at the Senior Department Fair on 24th February, after school until 7pm. Help is needed to demonstrate careers programmes on computers to parents and students. Please see Mrs Begbie or Mrs Costello if you are able to help.

We have been asked to sell refreshments at the Senior Departmental Fair on Tuesday 24th February.
Each member of the group will be required to cover a time slot on the evening (15mins!) to sell
refreshments KEEP 4:30pm-7pm FREE AND WE WILL ORGANISE A
ROTA DURING THE EVENTS CLASS ON THE FIRST MONDAY BACK!

Farewell to Umlazi pupils
• Sadly, and all to quickly, our Umlazi students return to South Africa on Thursday evening.
• They have asked me to pass on their sincere thanks for the fantastic welcome they have received here.
