DESCRIPTION
This is what I call a Pitch Poem, where we gather around and write a random first line, and then we have auctions for our first line. The point was to pitch yourself as a writer, and throw out your ideas to someone to convince them to give you their first line so you can write a poem about it. I pitched myself seven times, and I didn’t get picked once. This was the last line available, so I had to write a poem about it. It was in Spanish... no wonder no one picked it. I hope you like it. It was difficult.

Del más alto de alturas puedes ver sus lucesLas estrellas en vueloDespertar la nocheOh tales maravillaEso da la vida de noche
Como tanto podría la vidaDemostrarte en tal nocheY gente puesta además de cerrar sus ojos
Caminemos en la playaDeslizarte la mano en los míosNo hundiremos los pies en la arena y haremosComo somos vivos
Bailaremos en la noche que seremos el proyectorDe la estrella entonces comenzaras a cantar“Las estrellas son brillantes”
Las estrellas de esta nocheBrillo del reflejo tan brillanteNos colocamos en la playaLas alturas que alcanzaríamosSi podríamos volarComo las estrellas en el cielo
