LARNAKA AND PAPHOS AIRPORTS

Under a 25-year PPP deal, Bouygues completed the design and build of facilities at two international airports in Cyprus: Paphos and Larnaka. The contract was Bouygues’ first major reference in airport concessions.

Works comprised the full modernisation of the existing buildings, to a design by Pascall and Watson and Stantec Architects. At Larnaka, a 100,000m² terminal was constructed, with a capacity of 7.5 million passengers. At Paphos, a 20,000m² terminal building was completed with a capacity of 2.5 million passengers. In total, 80ha of grounds were landscaped for the project.
