Purpose

Language Interventions Activities

Language –nourish it!• Includes spoken or written words

• Enables us to express our thoughts and feelings

• Comes from the Latin word that means “tongue”

• Is made up of socially shared rules that include:

•How to make new words

•How to put words together

•What word combinations are best in what situations
