c h i l d r e n ' s v o c a b u l a r y d e v e l o p m e n t was a s s e s s e d upon e n t e r i n g t h e

p r o g r a m a n d a f t e r a p p r o x i m a t e l y s e v e n m o n t h s o f p a r t i c i p a t i o n i n

t h e program.

h a n d i c a p p e d c h i l d r e n . The d a t a o b t a i n e d were c o n s i s t e n t w i t h

t h i s h y p o t h e s i s . T h e c h i l d r e n ' s v o c a b o l a r ~ d e v e l o p m e n t s h o w e 3 no

n o n h a a d i c a p p e d c h i l d r e n , w h i l e a n o t h e r i n t e r a c t e d more o f t e n

w i t h h a n d i c a p p e d c h i l d r e n i n t h e i n t e g r a t e d s e t t i n g , s u g g e s t s

t h a t a n o p t i m a l e n r i r o n a e n t f o r i n t e g r a t i o n Bay n o t h a r e b e e n

p r o v i d e d by a l l CLTs, F u r t h e r i n v e s t i g a t i o n is n e e d e d i n t h i s
