Langley BartonLangley Barton was originally a 5-bay cross-passage house which was then substantially altered in 1628, when owned by Richard Pollard a courtier to Elizabeth I. The house has been subsequently altered and extended at various times to include the attractive, south-facing Georgian front facade. The current owners undertook a wholescale refurbishment of the house and also created the beautiful garden that now surrounds the property. This is only the second time in the past 100 years it has been offered for sale.

The house is Grade II listed and is built of local stone with a slate roof. The position of the house, combined with wide, tall sash windows provide plentiful natural light giving the house a bright and airy feel. Internally the house has retained much of its original character and is configured into two parts, interconnecting at ground and first floor levels, to provide the main portion with three double bedrooms along with a good-sized self-contained two-bedroom annexe.
