Welcome to the Langco/Kueber Farms Bull and Select Female Sale. We are pleased to be working with the

Kueber farm crew for this sale offering. These bulls have been meticulously culled from birth to sale day resulting in 25 rugged, ranch raised coming 2 yr old bulls, out of a cow herd of over 200 cows. We are proud of the uniformity of the group and feel these bulls are genetically suited for the times as many are outcross Canadian genetics with big performance, as we head into what hopefully will be an extended period of high cattle prices with lower input costs. Our breeding program was developed from actually feeding out hundreds of our own cattle and we feel confident that we can produce cattle that calve unassisted, weigh up in the fall, and perform in the feedlot. In addition, we have a group of 40 commercial replacement heifers for sale. They are Angus x Shorthorn cross calves that will be sold in groups of 5. Welcome to our first Annual bull sale, 2014 brings great excitement and multiple changes to our cattle operation, including a steadily growing cow herd, the

introduction of a more intensive ET program, and our first annual bull sale, now held at the Viking Auction Market. In efforts to market our cattle at a venue closer to home, we decided to team up with our friends at Langco to put on a sale offering top quality yearling and two year old bulls.

The selection of our genetics is on the basis of structural correctness, performance, eye appeal, maternal traits, and calving ease. The structural correctness we select for in our cattle is utilized to ensure we are producing good footed, well-balanced, functional cattle that have the longevity to offer our customers a sound investment, not only today, but in the future years to come. The performance aspect of our program is utilized in efforts to increase profits at weaning time, while the maternal traits and calving ease offer reassurance in the replacement and calving pen.

The 2014 offering of red & black’s strongly exemplifies the traits we select for, and is in my opinion the best and most uniform set of two year old and yearling bulls we have produced to date.
