Every day you have discovered one or more interesting ideas or "learning point" to be applied in your own job

Based on these learning points, develop 2 or 3 "action items", which form the body of your action plan

Transform your action items into an action plan, using action-oriented verbs (tell, write, apply, negotiate, execute, implement, study, decide, analyse, ...)

Try to be specific in terms of time. What will I do:

within the next six months after six months whenever the option arises

Try to take into account:

1. The preliminary nature of the plan: make it as specific as possible

2. Resources: what will I need for it, in terms of support from colleagues, external stakeholders, skills, money, ...)

3. Implementation: do I have the authority to implement? who will I have to get involved?

4. Effects: who will benefit from my action? Will anybody be negatively effected?

5. Environment: can I expect resistance from within my organisation? Whose support will I need?
