2. Attach external loading bar to chain provided, which must be previously secured to your ceiling with adequate fixings for both hanging rail locations. Your ceiling fixings must supportatleast150kgsofweight.PleasenoteLU4500onlyhas a single hanging rail.

3. Attach loading bar to chain supplied (which has been secured to the ceiling).

4. When attaching the external loading bar (see Fig A - left), makesurethatitlockswithapositive„click“intothe internal hanging rail.

5.Onceyourgameissecuredtoan„S“hook,itcanbeliftedonto the external loading bar.

6. You can now slide your game onto the internal hanging rail.

Noise emissions from the applianceThe noise level while the appliance is operating is below 70 dB(A) (relative noise level 1 pW).

Information for short and long hanging periods:

For short hanging periods (fan symbol is illuminated). The circulation fan runs constantly even when the cooling compressor is not in operation. This ensures fast and even distribution of cold air.

Forlonghangingperiods(thefansymbolisswitchedoff). The fan only runs when the cooling compressor is activated.In this mode the fridge produces a lower relative humidity.

Tip:Prolongstorageatatemperatureof-1ºCisrecommended(gamewillnotstarttofreezeuntil-2ºC)

Cooling with fanWith the fan function switched on, a uniform temperature distribution will be attained in the refrigerator compartment.This is recommended:- inhighroomtemperatures(approx.30°Corhigher),- if the air humidity is high.

Shutting your appliance downIf your appliance is to be shut down for any length of time, switch it off and disconnect the plug or switch off or unscrew the fuse. Cleantheapplianceandleavethedooropeninordertopreventunpleasant smells.

The appliance complies with the relevant safety regulations and ECDirectives2004/108/ECand2006/95/EC.

MalfunctionsYou may be able to rectify the following faults by checking the possible causes yourself.• Appliancedoesnotfunction:– Is the appliance switched on?–Istheplugcorrectlyfittedinthemainssocket?– Is the fuse intact?• Loudrunningnoise:– Is the appliance set up firmly on the floor?–Doestheappliancecausenearbyitemsoffurnitureorobjectstovibrate?Pleasenotethatnoisescausedbytherefrigerantcircuit cannot be avoided.

• Thetemperatureisnotlowenough:– Is the temperature setting correct? (see“Settingthetemperature”)

–Doestheseparatelyinstalledthermometershowthecorrectreading?

–Istheventilationsystemworkingproperly?– Is the appliance set up too close to a heat source?If none of the above causes apply and you cannot rectify the fault yourself, contact the nearest customer service department stating the type designation , service number and appliance number as indicated on the type plate.The position of the type plate is shown in the section entitled Description of the appliance.

Door open alarmIf the door is left open for more than 180 seconds, the audible warning signal will sound.If the door must be opened for a lengthy period to place items into the appliance, cancel the audible warning signal by pressing the Alarm button. Thealarmswitchesbacktostandbywhenthedoorisshut.

Temperature alarmIf the temperatures in the interior are out of the permitted range, the audible warning signal will sound and the temperature display will flash.

After a lengthy power failure, the temperature in the interior may have risen to too high a level. After the power supply returns, the fall in temperature can be watched on the display.

• CanceltheaudiblewarningsignalbypressingtheAlarm button. The temperature display will stop flashing as soon as the tem-perature in the interior has reached the set value.

Temperature alarm after a fault in the applianceIf the appliance develops a fault, the temperature in the interior may rise too high or fall too low. The audible warning signal will sound and the temperature display will flash.

Ifthetemperaturedisplayedistoohigh(warm),firstcheckwhetherthe door is closed correctly.If the temperature display continues to show a value that is too high or too low after one hour, contact the customer service department.

• CanceltheaudiblewarningsignalbypressingtheAlarm button. If F1 appears in the display, the appliance has suffered a fault. In this case, contact the customer service department.

Do not use steam cleaners because of the risk of injury and damage.

• Ensure that no cleaningwater penetrates into the electricalcomponents or ventilation grill.

• Dryallpartswellwithacloth.• Thedustshouldberemovedfromtherefrigerationunitandheatexchanger-metalgridatthebackoftheappliance-onceayear.

• Donotdamageorremovethetypeplateontheinsideoftheappliance. It is very important for servicing purposes.

• Useacommerciallyavailablestainless-steelcleaningagentforstainless-steel appliances.

Do not use abrasive sponges or scourers, do not use con-centrated cleaning agents and never use cleaning agents containing sand, chloride or acid or chemical solvents, as this will damage the surfaces and could cause corrosion.

Tip 2: Landig cleaning concentrateA special cleaning concentrate (500 ml spray bottle ) good for disinfecting and removing stuborn stains.

Before cleaning always switch off the appliance. Pull out the mains plug or remove/unscrew the fuse.

Changing over door hinges

1. Remove screw from lower hingebracket.

2. Lift door, tilt to the right and remove.

5. Turn lower hinge pin through 180°andremove.

6. Insert pin on the opposite sideandturnthrough180°.

3. Transfer upper hinge com-ponents to the opposite side.

7. Locate door on upper pin.

8. Tilt door inwards from the left.

9.Securehingepinwithscrew.

10. Transfer handle and plugs to the opposite side of the door.
