I mean, it's a Lancia. It's white. With Mar�ni stripes. It doesn't really get much cooler than that, does it?

The year is 1991, and Lancia have just bagged their 5th WRC �tle. It's an impressive feat by anyone's standards, not least for a rela�vely small Italian manufacturer, who weren't known for their build quality. At the �me, the Integrale Evo I, or to use its proper �tle the Lancia Delta Integrale HF Evoluzione, was the top of the tree. The daddy. The one to have.

But, a�er taking their 5th trophy, the normally staid Italians (lol) wanted to celebrate, and so the Evo Mar�ni 5 was born. It was, to all intents and purposes, a standard Evo I, just with some stripes and different trim, but as one of just 400 examples produced, it was, and s�ll is, a highly sought-a�er car.

WHAT?

This one is something very special. It doesn't (as far as we're aware) have a slew of famous owners. Neither has it performed some sort of automo�ve circus rou�ne around a dockyard. What it has done is less than 18,000 miles, and it's as original as the day it drove out the factory.

Seriously, this thing is CLEAN. Like, unfathomably so. It has never seen even a spot of paint or bodywork repair, and even has the original s�cker regarding the factory tracking system on the dashboard.

The Recaro seats, which are notorious for bolster damage and wear, appear to have never been sat in, and the switchgear hasn't gone s�cky like many of its contemporaries. I know it sounds like we're waxing lyrical about this thing, but when we got up close to it, we genuinely couldn't believe how ridiculously �dy it is. And, it's for sale…

…although it's beyond the reach of most of us. The car is listed for sale with “Price on Applica�on”, which you know means it's reassuringly expensive. We know how much it is, and suffice to say there's a 1 at the front, with 5 digits following. A non-Mar�ni Evo I with more than 4x the mileage is currently up for grabs for a snip under £65k, so we're sure you can use your imagina�on.

We were lucky enough to get up and close and personal with this incredibly special car at our HQ, when it was here for one of our Meet Your Heroes video features. These images were
