Product Description

What is ?

PV-WR is an adhesive interlayer for laminated glass based on ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) critically cross linked by peroxides in a heating process. It has been specifically developed as a transparent and weatherproof interlayer with excellent melting and curing characteristics for universal purpose, especially for adhesive applications with glass and many other materials. The special characteristics of this material enable the users to develop and create completely new composite products with outstanding durability and quality.

Why ?

PV-WR excels in its high adhesive strength, residual elasticity and durability, especially in extreme climatic conditions. And therefore, it is used in challenging projects which cannot be realized with other laminating materials. This material withstands temperature differences from minus 30°C to plus 120°C.

How do I laminate with ?

PV-WR is processed by a 2 step laminating system in a melting and curing process. This is a vacuum bag system combined with heating process. Contact our technical team for detailed information.

Specifically designed to avoid delamination, blush lines and loss of structural stability. We have designed additional products that complement the system. - After lamination is compatible with Dow Corning and Sika one part neutral

cure silicone, as well as two part Dow Corning and Sika double glazing and structural

glazing sealant.

- In addition is also compatible with Polysulfide from Kömmerling and Fenzi.

- When using with stainless steel assemblies can be introduced to the

system.

The E.S.A. Limited S.a.r.l. Ghost Fitting System has been specifically developed for

internal lamination.

- Due to its modular system the requirements for security, residual strength, structural

strength and stability can be adapted to the customer specific specifications. With

the multilayer structure of glass, and a variety of completely new

solutions and possibilities can be realised.

Laminating Film PV-WR (Peroxide Vulcanized - Water Resistant)

* Long term stability in extreme climatic conditions. * Extremely high adhesion on glass and plastics. * Very good flow characteristics for bent glass and butt edge laminating. * Economical (energy saving) laminating process. * No shrinking factor, therefore no limitation in size. * The largest available width of 2200 mm currently.

Cleaning Solvent Clean-Sol (Cleaning – Solvent) * Optimal cleaning of glass and smooth surfaces. * Removes residual-free prevalent contamination. * Specifically developed for use with PV-WR and HI-500 interlayer. * Special recipe to meet our requirements. * Contains no colour or pigment additives.

Cleaning Solvent Prepa-Sol (Preparation - Solvent)

* Optimum preparation of surface for laminating process. * Dries up residual humidity and degreases surface of glass, metal and plastics. * Enhances the performance between glass, PV-WR and HI-500. * Special recipe to meet our requirements. * Safe to use on all smooth and rough surfaces.

Adhesive Tapes HA-P 24/36/48 - 66 (High Adhesive - Permeable) * High adhesion and residue free after stripping, even after laminating. * Extremely high tensile strength. * Good contour accuracy at maximum temperature stability. * Specially manufactured according to our standards. * Widths with 24 / 36 / 48 mm on 66 meter rolls.

Reinforcing Insert HI-500 (High Impact - 500 Micrometer) * Very good adhesion to PV-WR. * Simple handling and laminating process. * Multiple increase of stability. * Protection against vandalism and theft.
