Our students are proud to be at Lambton Park. They havetold us that they like being at school and love the staff thatthey work with. There is a renewed emphasis at our school to offer theco-curricular opportunities the kids deserve here at school. We recognize and value all of our staff who go beyondthe basic professional responsibilities of their jobs for ourstudents in many ways. The staff offer teams in the following sports: Cross-CountryRunning, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer and Track & Field. The school also offers different staff-led clubs includingChoral, Leadership, Announcements, Yoga, Dance, Spirit,Junior Librarirans, Knitting, Gardening, Eco-Club, Yearbook,Intra-Murals, Technology, Homework and Boys’ Book Clubs. Students have the opportunities to lead others and work withothers in many ways. Formal leadership roles are availableto our older students who participate as StudentAmbassadors and take advantage of student leadershipopportunities. We want our students to realize that as a hard-workinggroup we are all part of our school team in and out of theclassroom wherever we go.
What Sets Us Apart
"Lambton Park - Achieving, Believing and Caring... ourABC's" is our school motto. Our ABC's were adapted from one of our former director'sopening messages with the TDSB. To some these wordscould appear to be rather short and simple. However, to usthey set a lofty goal each and every day. We want to livethese words in everything we do. We want every child in the school to achieve to the best oftheir abilities in whatever they wish to do.We want every person that works with our children, and thestudents themselves, to believe in our kids' abilities and toknow that the sky is the limit. And finally, we want everybody who touches our students'lives to genuinely care about the entire child's well-beingand to celebrate the successes. Research shows that an old African proverb is correct. "Ittakes a village to raise a child." By supporting our staff, ourparents and guardians, our community and our students innew and creative ways, we are demonstrating that simplydoing what was done in the past is not good enough.Lambton Park is intent on moving forward!

Imagine there is a clear focus on achieving student success and every student is engaged, has a voice, access to a caring adult and the opportunity to develop their full potential. Here at the TDSB our focus is on student achievement, parent and community engagement and financialstability.
