Fishing is amazing on the lake.  Lake June is home to many popular bass fishing tournaments.  The lake has a series of waterways which connect to Lake Henry and Lake Carrie.  Fish commonly and easily caught include large mouth bass, catfish, bluegill and speckled perch.  Itʼs not uncommon for bass to exceed 10 pounds!

If you are a bird watcher, you will enjoy spectacular bird species which call the shores of Lake June home.  You will likely see Florida Scrub Jays, Herons, Osprey, Ibis, Egrets, and Ducks to include Mallards and Wood Ducks. We also offer a Vacation Rental Management Program for the convenience of both our owners, tenants and guests.   Enjoy the convenience of full service management to include tenant procurement and screening, contents inventory at tenant arrival and departure, lease preparation, rent collection/disbursements, as well as housekeeping (either a daily basis or upon departure of tenant or guest).

Our Vacation Planning Staff can assist in planning your fun to arrange for rentals of watercraft (pontoon, power boat, or SeaDoo), golf or tennis (both on property and off), and recommendations of popular area restaurants, shopping, attractions and theaters.  The Orlando Disney attractions and Fun Parks are less than two hours away.

Lake June West Townhomes was the host site and major financial contributor of Duck Pluck 2011, held April 30th, 2011.

At  Duck Pluck 2011  at least 2,500 rubber ducks were dropped into Lake June. The event featured the Lake Placid Marine Boat Show, and a live band featuring "Live Bait".

There was a free barbeque and Family Fun Events including an  In-Water Boat Show, Barefoot Waterski Show, Wakeboard Waterski Show, Sky Ski Show, Bounce House, Beverages, Duckling Costume Contest for best dressed duckling for children 5 years & under. 

"Net proceeds” are used to benefit Cub Scout Pack 426 activities which focus on building strong character and good citizenship. During outings and camps Cub Scouts learn  safety, first aid, survival skills, sportsmanship, responsibility, respect to God, country, and family and to always DO THEIR BEST!"
