been selected, Dr. Nicolas

Tehelemis of Columbia University

Recommendations of WTE consultants

• Install a Circulation Fluidized Bed (CFB) incineration plant

in the context of waste characterization of Lahore (high

moisture contends and low calorific value).

• Selection of site is important to utilize electricity and heatgenerated during the incineration process.

• Electricity efficiency is 20 to 25% and if heat is included

the efficiency increased to 50 to 60%

• Estimated cost of a plant with EU emission standards;
