1. Introduction. The L479 was normally used as bunker for night-fighter control “Nachtjagd”. There were only build at the coast in the sector AOK 15, AOK 7 and AOK 1 of the Atlantikwall. In contradiction the L479 was also used as bunker for day-fighter control “Gefstd Jagdabschnittsführer JaFü für Tagjagd”. Two of them were build near a Flugplatz. Totally 20 were constructed and one was under construction in 1944. Hereby some data, the location, an aerial and a plan of the measured L479 if possible.
