Lafarge India Team wins the ‘Special Commendation Award’ at the
Best Change Interventions of Asia Awards (BCIA)
In the feedback, Jury members appreciated the
way entire business strategy was designed,
communicated effectively through creating
shared vision and awareness using Large Scale
Interactive Process (LSIP). Process of involving
all middle managers in building shared vision and
action plans was specially applauded.
Abhilasha 2015 is to make Lafarge RMX the
safest, most reliable and preferred business
partner for the construction industry in India.
To achieve this four key pillars have been

Special Commendation Award
The BCIA awards encourage organizations which proactively manage change efforts, showcase their internal
best practices and receive feedback and recognition from a panel of jury members. This year over 40
organizations participated from Asia and Lafarge was one of the 12 finalists along with other organizations like
Tata Motors, W ipro, Dr. Reddy's and Mahindra. The Jury members evaluated each entry against key
parameters of successful change initiative.
The Lafarge Abhilasha 2015 case study will feature
in BCIA's publication ‘Driving Transformation- How
12 Indian Companies drove change successfully’.
