poster beds, steam room and more, each suite is individually styled.

The boat houseNestled between lakes and woodland, the stone

built Victorian Cottage is approached by its own private road. The perfect retreat for couples

wanting splendid isolation.

Bridal SuiteSet within its own private courtyard,

the Bridal Suite sleeps 4 guests in absolute luxury. The central living area is open plan and features

a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting room.

The Wedding Pavilion Ladywood Estate - The Designer Wedding VenueThe Wedding Pavilion has been designed and purpose built for Wedding Celebrations and offers an attractive alternative to marquees and tents.

Externally, The Pavilion blends into the Estates formal gardens and parkland. The Stone Terraces provide and ideal setting for canapes and champagne receptions. Ladywood Estate only hosts one Wedding or Event each week, so offering total exclusivity.

Working with Ladywood's Interior Designers, the Bride & Groom are able to create their personal 'Dream Wedding Venue'.

From 40 guest to 400 guest: The Pavilion can be divided creating separate areas for:- Reception - Bar - Mood Seating - Dancefl oor & Stage and lots more. Alternatively, in an open plan design The Pavilion seats 400 guest - banquet style leaving space for a dancefl oor and DJ station.

Catering – Preferred suppliers to Ladywood Estate WeddingsHire of Ladywood Estate is not inclusive of catering, however we have the pleasure of recommending some of the country's fi nest catering companies who will provide exquisite catering solutions, whatever your event. They can provide sample menus and create bespoke menus to suit your requirements and tastes once you have visited Ladywood.

Religions and Traditions vary greatly for different regions and communities. At Ladywood Estate we are able to accommodate and host ceremonies from all Asian religions.

CeremoniesLadywood is licensed for Civil Ceremonies within four seperate areas of the Estate:- Ladywood House Main Hall is licensed for smaller parties of up to 50 guests offering a country house setting. The Pavilion is licensed for larger numbers of up to 200 guests and can be styled and decorated to your choice. The oak and glass Portico is set in open parkland, overlooking the gardens and lakes, providing the perfect setting for a summer wedding ceremony and is licensed for up 200 guests. The Orangery is licensed for larger ceremonies of up to 400 guests.

The OrangeryThe New Orangery has been designed for larger ceremonies seating 400 guests. Sitting within a woodland setting and featuring a full length glass wall which opens onto a private terrace. The Orangery is designed for Hindu Ceremonies, accommodating a full width Mandap and raised walkway. The Orangery can also be used for a Traditional English Tea Party, and an evening drinks party or Champagne Reception. Street Food served on the Orangery Terrace creates a unique experience.

The Bridal Suite sits within a private walled courtyard, approached through massive oak gates facing south it provides a sheltered sun trap throughout the seasons. The Suite has been totally rebuilt and designed to sleep 4 guests within two massive bedroom suites each with magnifi cent bathrooms. The central living area is open plan and features: a large, fully equipped kitchen - dining area and sitting room with vaulted ceiling and oak beams. Each room has Bi fold doors opening on to a large stone terrace overlooking formal gardens, parkland and lakes, providing uninterrupted views across open countryside.

Ladywood HouseA stay at Ladywood House is a unique experience with it's massive log fi res in the principle rooms, candlie light dinners in the dining room or a simple kitchen supper by the aga. Quite simply, the house is breathtaking.

The formal gardens and parkland frame the house leading to terraces, ponds and areas for outside entertaining.

Ladywood is a magnifi cent venue offering exclusive use of the entire Estate for your celebrations. The Estate nestles in the centre of its own land. It has been set out as formal gardens, parkland and lakes, with Ladywood House sitting beside 22 acres of woodland which gives the estate its name. A breath-taking venue for any wedding!

Asian Weddings and Traditional English WeddingsThe Boat HouseSituated between lakes and woodland and approached by your own private road. The Boat House is the ideal honeymoon retreat, sleeping two guests. Externally this Victorian Boat House nestles within remote countryside, with terraces and paths that lead down to the lake. Internally, designers have created each room in a contemporary Italian style, creating a luxurious warm and cosy feel.

Getting to LadywoodUsing our postal address with Satnav will NOT get you to Ladywood but Google WILL. Enter Knossington Road, Braunston in Rutland, Oakham. The directions listed below work , so please use them and you will avoid our small local villages. And reduce your journey time.

To Ladywood from the A1: Take the A606 (Stamford turn off) heading for Oakham. In Oakham town turn right, through the town centre, as you cross the Train Level Crossing fi lter left and take the second left, signed Braunston. Travel through Braunston village, leaving the village take the fi rst right and follow the road for 1 mile. Ladywood is on your right hand side. Drive slowly or you will miss the entrance.

A47 from Leicester: Take the B6047 (7 miles out of Leicester) signed Tilton on the Hill. In Titon turn fi rst right and follow the Oakham sign. Travel for 7 miles (do NOT turn off for Knossington) and the road becomes a LONG - STRAIGHT - DOWN HILL for 1.2 miles, ending is a right hand bend with a left hand turn signposted

Knossington. Take LEFT HAND TURN and follow the lane for 1 mile. Ladywood is on the right hand side. Drive slowly or you will miss the sign.

From Northampton & Market Harborough: A6 onto the B6047 and follow the B6047 crossing the A47 and continue on the B6047 to Tilton on the Hill. Turn right in Tilton and then follow the directions detailed under 'A47 Leicester' on the left.

From the East Midlands (Birmingham - Walsall - Wolverhampton): M69 onto the M1 Northbound. Turn off at junction 21A onto the A46 and turn off at a traffi c island signed Quenliborough. Turn left into Quenliborough and on leaving follow the road 7/8 miles and you will come to B6047, turn right signed Tilton on the Hill. In Tilton turn left and then follow directions detailed under 'A47 Leicester'.
