Ladies Fishing Seminar

HI!I took a fishing seminar ("Ladies, Let's Go Fishing!"), which is offered several times a year, each in a different area of Florida. This one was a mini course because they were checking on the interest in this area and some local women took the full course and wanted to share the fun here. Most are whole weekends. There was so much instruction crammed into this mini course that my mind is still reeling (no pun intended)! After the instruction, we went to different stations to do however much hands-on we had time for. Topics & hands-on included a choice of & configuration of tackle, using different types of lures & baits, keeping or releasing, cleaning & filleting, spin & fly casting, trailering & backing boats and much, much, more, which also included included off-shore and in-shore fishing charters as well as kayak fishing in the Caloosahatchee River estuary.

Fishing Trip

• Ours was an ActionCraft smaller boat and included three of us. Most of the pictures are of my neighbor, Sue, or me. The last one is of the gal taking our photos, Paula, from Cape Coral. The guy is Captain David, our guide. I learned so much, but there's still so much to learn! I will definitely take the full course if it's available in this area. Otherwise, I'd like to take the one in the Florida Keys.

What fun it was! Now, I avidly read any articles in the fishing (or any other) newspapers & magazines and actually understand what they're saying! Ladies, let's go fishing! :-D
