LCI AGM Iceland, My amazing trip to Iceland started with a whale watching tour on Thursday morning along with my traveling companion from the same club in Gothenburg. It is hardly possible to get closer to a whale as we did on that boat trip. The wind was cold and chilly so my fingers almost numb but it was totally worth the experience. We stayed at a small guesthouse with simple rooms and shared bathrooms and toilets. It was clean and fresh, and the companion of other LC women in the same corridor made the stay extra nice to us. LC parade on Thursday night was fun. It felt like a parade for Olympic games which made you feel proud. It was my first experience participating in a LCI even. The feeling of meeting with so many strong and powerful women from different parts of the world was very inspiring. It was interesting to hear how LCI works and to hear about how LC has been able to contribute in various charity projects around the world. The membership of LC becomes more powerful and real when you are on a LCI event. I feel proud to be part of this organization. Friday evening's home parties provided an opportunity to get acquainted and talk in more detail with other women from different corners of the world who were stranger to you just a few seconds earlier. Our hostess was frank and took good care of us. The friends I got along the way, I have little contact with via Facebook now and who knows it might get an occasional visit in the future. On Saturday we had the opportunity to go for a waterfall and farmland trip which was magnificent. It was so beautiful as in some moments I got the feeling of being in the middle of a

LCI AGM Iceland,

My amazing trip to Iceland started with a whale watching tour on Thursday morning along with my traveling companion from the same club in Gothenburg. It is hardly possible to get closer to a whale as we did on that boat trip. The wind was cold and chilly so my fingers almost numb but it was totally worth the experience.

We stayed at a small guesthouse with simple rooms and shared bathrooms and toilets. It was clean and fresh, and the companion of other LC women in the same corridor made the stay extra nice to us.

We finished the trip at the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik on Sunday evening. It was 40 degrees in the water, so sweet and pleasant. It was such a relaxation well deserved after far too little sleep during the past few days.

I would like to take the opportunity to once again thank the whole LCI board and LCI conference team for such a wonderful, interesting and well organized event.
