REF: 10344 Boat Name: Lacewing
Lacewing is a 50 foot traditional stern narrowboat built by the renowned builder Jonathon Wilson in 1988. She is powered by a BMC 1.8 which has been rebuilt by Calcutt boats. From entering at the rear is the engine room which has plenty of storage space and the engine beneath the sound proofed deck boards. A door leads into the rear bedroom which has a
single bed on each side with internally sprung mattress although it is possible to convert into one large double by using the additional internally sprung mattress. At the foot of the bed is plenty of storage space. Following on from the bedroom is the shower room complete with wash hand basin, pumpout toilet, full sized shower and more storage. The galley comes next which is well fitted and makes good use of all of the space complete with full free standing gas cooker, 12v fridge, sink and drainer. The saloon has two fixed seats which also convert to a double bed, solid fuel stove which provides heating throughout the boat via a back boiler and radiators, folding dining table, television cabinet and also space for some free standing furniture. This boat is very well appointed and has many extras which include a solar panel,
inverter, cover over steering position. A recent survey is also available for viewing.
