Introduction to the Lab: The Mechanical Engineering Department has 2 computer laboratories. They are established for introducing mechanical engineering students to computers and using
computer applications in Mechanical Engineering courses. They include several personal computers with peripherals. They are utilized in several courses and are used by students for their course assignments and senior projects. The computer labs are equipped with the state-of-the-art personal computers, overhead projector integrated with smart boards. The total numbers are: 25 computers running on Windows 10 and 25 computers running on Windows 7, as well as a variety of the latest engineering
software. They are periodically updated to maintain the level of the state-of-the-art status. They are all networked through a university networking system.
