Computer Labels

Lithotech offers an extensive range of computer labels that are effective and convenient for all applications.

Laser Labels

Ideal for desktop processing, our extensive range of stock and custom A4 laser labels offers proven feedability, trouble-free performance and optimal toner acceptance for a top-quality finish.

Stock labels are available in a variety of die-cut configurations. Bespoke labels can be supplied in a variety of paper colours, printed in up to 5 colours and custom die-cut.

Continuous Labels

Continuous computer labels combine the convenience of self-adhesive labels with the efficiency of electronic data processing.

Lithotech produces a wide range of continuous (sprocket-fed) labels that can be supplied blank or printed in up to 5 colours.

Our continuous labels can be tight-release, die-cut in various configurations, and are available on a standard glassine backing sheet or on a Kraft backing sheet for high speed laser printers.

Integrated Labels

Whether you need a number of labels per page or one large label, with Lithotech’s integrated labels, the choice is yours.

Formed by applying silicon-release paper to the glued back of the label area and then die-cutting into any shape or size, integrated labels provide the perfect solution.

With the option of being printed in full colour, and computer printed at the same time as the surrounding carrier document, integrated labels are designed to save on processing costs, lengthen printer life and eliminate mismatching.

Integrated labels are ideal for:

Track & Trace Labels

Through verified computer generated barcodes, Lithotech’s track & trace labels can be used for the effective tracking of parcels in transit, offering safety and reliability.

Track & trace labels can be supplied as a single label or as a label with many sub-labels, and are ideal for:

Thermal Labelling Systems

Lithotech believes in providing a total solution to clients, which is why aside from supplying labels, we also supply systems that allow you to print your own labels according to your business needs.

Direct thermal printers image directly onto the paper, while thermal transfer printers use a temperature sensitive ink ribbon that transfers ink to paper or synthetic label material when heated. Thermal and thermal transfer systems are perfect for labels that are required to be computer-printed with variable information (e.g. barcodes) on-site.

Thermal Labelling Systems

Printers & Scanners

Lithotech’s range of direct thermal and thermal transfer printers offer efficiency and value for money. Printers can be stand-alone (requiring no additional hardware or software) or connected to a PC and supported with advanced software. We also supply scanners for verifying printed barcodes. Our service department is well equipped to repair and maintain the full range of printers and scanners, and maintenance contracts are also available.

Printer Software

Lithotech’s labelling software allows users to easily and conveniently create a variety of labels for various applications.

Our software offers the following features:

• Multiple fonts, portrait or landscape formats, the ability to import custom graphics, logos and typestyles

• A wide variety of barcode symbologies• Database import and export capabilities• An easy to use WYSIWYG interface

for viewing completed labels (including barcodes, text, logos, line art and graphics) on your computer monitor before printing

Ribbons

Lithotech supplies an extensive range of SABS-approved high-quality thermal transfer ribbons that ensure optimum printer performance.

Ribbons are available in a variety of colours, and in wax, resin or wax-resin formulations.

Price-Marking & Coding Systems

Price-marking is widely used in the retail and manufacturing environments. Although most large retailers use the pre-printed product barcode for identification of the product and price at the checkout, smaller retailers apply a price label to each item.

Lithotech provides comprehensive price-marking systems (including labels, guns, cartridges, bands and a full gun repair service) that are suited to:

• Pricing• Consecutive numbering• Sell-by and best-before dates• Production and quality assurance codes

These systems offer the benefit of being able to code individual items whilst on the manufacturing line, or to price each item as it is packed onto store shelves. Some labels allow for both traceability and pricing, while others also allow for sell-by and best-before dates.

Price-Marking & Coding Systems

Labels

Lithotech supplies stock and custom printed price-marking labels in a variety of sizes and colours.

Labels are available in non-permanent, water soluble, textile friendly and tamper-proof formulations.

 Price-marking Guns

We supply a comprehensive range of hand-held guns – suitable for a variety of label sizes and price and coding configurations – for applying labels to items.

An assortment of numbering bands and replacement ink cartridges are available, and we also repair ink rollers.

Tagging Systems

Swing-tickets and tags are largely used in the retail clothing industry, where garments that are not clearly marked can cause unnecessary work in establishing the information such as price and size, resulting in increased costs and a loss of profits.

An effective tagging system is essential. Lithotech offers a range of tagging solutions, including the relevant tools, needles and fasteners, to ensure secure attachment to each item.

Swing-tickets / Tags

Tags can be supplied as single items or in reels or packs (with or without sprockets), with punched eyelets or die-cut to facilitate fastening. Variable information can be printed onto continuous tags using our thermal or thermal transfer printers.

Lithotech supplies a comprehensive range of hand-held and pneumatic tagging guns to suit every requirement.

The standard range is suited to everyday applications.

As it reduces the risk of holes and snags when attaching tags to delicate materials, the fine fabric range is suited to the tagging of fine and delicate fabrics.

The heavy duty range is specifically designed for tough and demanding packaging and pairing applications.

Fasteners

Lithotech offers a range of polypropylene and nylon fasteners in numerous sizes.
