Hay un rana azul. La rana es un muchacho bueno. El se llama a Octavio. Octavio tiene muchos amigos.

There is a blue frog. The frog is a good boy. His name is Octavio. Octavio has a lot of friends.

Tambien hay un sapo. El sapo se llama José. José es del color café y no tiene amigos por que José es malo.

Also, there is a toad. The toads name is José. José is brown and does not have friends because he is bad.

Octavio y José viven en el mismo lago. Ellos tambien van a la misma escuela. La rana y el sapo tienen la professora se llama Katerina.

Octavio and José live in the same lake. They also go to the same school. The frog and the toad have the same teacher whose name is Katerina.

Pero Octavio y José no tienen los mismos amigos. Octavio es amiga con Carmen, Maria, Randy, y Jaime. José nunca tiene amigos por que él se un sapo malo.

But Octavio and José do not have the same friends. Octavio is friends with Carmen, Maria, Randy, and Jaime. José never had friends because he is a bad toad.

Un dia la rana y el sapo estaban en la escuela. -¡Habrá un bailé de la escuela esta noche!- Le dijo Maria -¡Vamos!-

One day the frog and the toad were in school. “There is a school dance tonight!” Maria said, “Lets go!”

Todos las ranas y los sapos fueron al baile. El baile comienza a las siete de la noche. Octavio y sus amigos estaban bailando en el rincón.

All the frogs and the toads went to the dance. The dance started at seven at night. Octavio and his friends were dancing in the corner.

José le saltó hacia Octavio, Carmen, Maria, Randy, y Jaime. José gritó a la Carmen -¡Tu no bailas bien!- Carmen está triste y comienza a llorar.

José hopped towards Octavio, Carmen, Maria, Randy, and Jaime. José yelled at Carmen, “Your not a good dancer!” Carmen is sad and starts to cry.

-¿Por que le gritas?- dice Octavio. José estaba triste. –Por que tù nunca juegas conmigo.- Le responde José.

“Why did you yell at her?” said Octavio. José was sad. “Because you never play with me.” responded José.

Randy miró a José y le dijo –Nosotros nunca jugamos ti por que es tan malo.- José le pidió -¿Como soy malo?-

Randy looked at José and said, “We never play with you because your so bad.” José asked, “How am I bad?”

Jaime le respondió –Por que nunca le dice por favor o gracias a nadie. Nosotros seramos amigos contigo pero tù no eres bueno.-

Jaime responded, “Because you never say please or thank you to anybody. We would be friends with you, but your notgood.”

-¡Yo se!- Le dijo José -¡Yo diciré por favor y gracias ahora!- Todos los sapos y las ranas miraron a José. José miró a Carmen y le dijo –Tengo vergüenza que te grité.-

“I know!” said José, “I will say please and thank you now!” All of the toads and frogs looked at José. José looked at Carmen and said, “I’m ashamed that I yelled at you.”

Carmen le respondió –Esta bien José.- Ella le sonrie a José. Octavio le pide -¿Quires bailar con nosotros?- José le responde –Claro que si. ¡Tengo suerte de tener amigos como ustedes!-

Carmen responded, “It’s ok José.” She smiled at José. Octavio asked, “Do you want to dance with us?” José responded, “Yes of course. I’m lucky to have friends like all of you!”

Ahora José es un sapo bueno y color de café. Tambien dice por favor y gracias. José es amigos con los otros ranas y los sapos.

Now José is a good, brown toad. He also says please and thank you. José is friends with the other frogs and toads.
