With a wonderfully salty top and a rich, yeasty texture, Charity Hullinger’s Cloverleaf Rolls

are the perfect accompaniment to any meal. These would accompany a holiday meal wonderfully, or work just as nicely at Sunday supper. So easy and so good, I bet you’ll have a hard time eating just one!

What You Need1 pkg quick-rise yeast1 1/3 c milk, lukewarm3 c all-purpose flour3 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin1 tbsp sugar1 tsp salt1 tbsp melted butterCoarse sea salt

Directions• Dissolve yeast in the warm

milk in the bowl of an electric mixer. • Stir in 1 cup of flour. Beat

until smooth.• Mixing on low speed, add

oil, sugar, salt and enough of the remaining flour until a soft dough forms. (You might have to add more than

Cloverleaf Rolls

the 3 cups to get it to the soft dough stage.)

• Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.

• Heat oven to 400 degrees. • Prep a 12 cup muffin pan with non-

stick cooking spray. (You can use melted butter too.)

• Punch down the dough in the center and fold over a couple times.

• Pinch the dough in 1 inch balls and quickly roll in the center of your palms.• Place 3 balls in each muffin cup;

brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the coarse sea salt.

• Put in oven and bake 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

• Note: These are best eaten the day they are made.

make!”

YOU’RE GETTING NEW NEIGHBORSOR HADN’T YOU HEARD?

Government officials are required to publish their intentions in the newspaper – including their intent to build a facility down the

street that you might not want. But that could change.

Some politicians want to bury public notices on little seen, rarely visited government websites. Don’t let government put you in the

dark. Public notices should be published by the newspaper.

If it is not in the newspaper, you won’t know about it.
