MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY

Our mission consists of reaching the greatest possible energy savings and cost reduction with our partners so that

they use less energy and they procure this energy for less than before.

Besides the cost reduction this double approach is involving two important benefits:

On one side the less energy we consume the less our environment is being polluted, on the other side the efficiency

provides our clients – either companies, institutions or municipal governments - with long term competitiveness and

sustainability.

We strongly believe that there might be a Hungarian service provider who is able to fill out the gap between the

tiny, one-man energetic enterprises and the energy-producing giants. A partner who is taking your interests into

consideration and is interested in your long-term partnership, in full spectrum, within a success fee scheme, indepen-

dently from the service providers, is providing help along with financing and execution.

COMPANY HISTORY

The mother company of our company, the Energy Hungary Zrt. is the Észak-Budai Zrt. and it was established

more than 20 years ago and it is dealing mostly with designing, realising and operating electric networks of small

and medium voltage. In addition the company is also providing direct engineering, professional and assembling

services within almost all the energy usage areas. The headcount of our employees is exceeding 250 people, the

Hungarian revenue is exceeding HUF 6 billion and the company group can be found in Slovakia, Serbia and the

United Kingdom, too.

Due to the success achieved in the energy-saving projects the company decided to perform its consulting and

investment-financing activities within the Energy Hungary Energetikai Zrt by involving private entities and the

management. Our company is an independent player in the energy market, we are not connected to any energy

producer.

The Energy Hungary Zrt. is a company showing an example and being fully responsible for its employees, partners

and environment.

ELECTRIC ENERGY SAVINGS

MORE EFFICIENT INDOOR LIGHTING

Our lighting professionals are modernising the existing systems with more efficient, economical lamps in such a way

that their consumption is decreasing. Among others we are using the most up-to-date ideas and the LED-based equip-

ment, too. The extent of the achievable savings can be considered minimum 20-30%-, however if we are talking

about full-scope modernisation, the consumption and the maintenance cost can decrease down to even one tenth!

MORE EFFICIENT PUBLIC LIGHTING

The decision on public lighting is for decades! The breakeven period of these projects is usually not short, how-

ever besides the savings it has several additional benefits. Naturally the modernisation of public lighting can’t be

full without concluding the full-scope maintenance, operation agreements we undertake based on decade-long

experience in such a way that the client does not even have to bother about.

ELECTRIC ENERGY SAVINGS

PROCURING CHEAPER ELECTRIC POWER

The procuring of the current is taking place within a free market and due to its complexity it is hiding a lot of

pitfalls. Since liberalisation there wasn’t enough time so that from among the contractual schemes offered by the

power-traders and service providers the agreements being rather unfavourable and potentially dangerous for the

consumers disappear. Walking in this mine-field the background knowledge can be rather useful.

With our company you can be sure you are purchasing power at a price, at a time, in a quantity and with terms

and conditions as it is most favourable for your company or institution.

RENEWABLE ENERGY WITH FAST PAYBACK

In Hungary the significant part of the reasonable, payback green-energy production can be realised with state and

European support. There are exceptions: the solar panels, the heat-pump and the geothermal energy sector where

even without support there may be several profitable projects can be established. Despite the bio-gas, the high in-

vestment cost it is an attractive perspective for certain users. The solar panels are able to help in power production,

and in the near future they are expected to spread around strongly. It is true for every renewable energy that there

is need for expertise and objective consideration with which it is possible to establish the best combination of the

various production methods. Our grant application consultants are providing your company or institution with the

most suitable support in order to ease the investment decisions.

GAS AND HEAT SAVINGS

HEATING MODERNISATION

For decreasing the cost of heating and sanitary hot water there are several proved solutions. For example the sani-

tary hot water can be produced with heat-exchanger, solar panel and heat-pump, too. When modernising the block

of flats, offices and industrial facilities the heat-pumps are already offering some economical alternatives we can’t

ignore. The co-generation small power plants that are good for producing electric power and heat production, too,

may often present better solutions than the separate purchasing of power and gas.

CHEAPER GAS PROCURING

The savings may also derive from less energy consumption and the clever, thoughtful gas-purchasing method as well

as from the tough tendering experienced by the suppliers.

Our company is able to carry out technological intervention that enable cheaper purchasing and due to the long

gas-related experience our professionals know exactly the functioning, the rules and the legal background of the

Hungarian and international gas market, in this way you can be sure your company or institution is receiving gas

at the best possible moment and with the most advantageous terms and conditions.

GAS AND HEAT SAVINGS

INSULATION, BUILDING MODERNISATION

Insulation is not an evident solution in Hungary. Since many things can be insulated but it does matter what, where

and with what material we are insulating. The savings we don’t achieve because of the heat-bridges, moulding,

bad air, the low efficiency are certain issues that easily transform the best intention into a nightmare. If you are

cooperating with us you can be sure that as a party being interested in savings we are handing over a solution

through the test of time.

GAS-ENGINE OPTIMISATION

The variation of law, the more intense regulation of the mandatory transfer of power production are economically

justifying the operation of the small power plants that are properly managed both from software and hardware

perspective. The gas engines can be operated efficiently and cheaply but this is not automatic at all, it requires

expertise and special tools. Our company has gained experience in designing, realising and operating more than

70 small power plants. Ask us before taking a decision!
