Miroslav Václavík
My life with dogs began in early seventies, when I was "bewitched" by Great Danes. In 80‘s I passed my first exam for a judge licence, for Great Danes. Step by step I extended my licence - in the year 2006 I became all-round judge. I judge on all levels of shows, in my home land as well abroad. I was honoured to judge several european and world shows. My principle is to judge an exhibit as whole, I don‘t judge faults, but advantages. I don´t use word "specialist" as everybody has another opinion of it. I personally have very close relations to Great Danes, English Bulldogs and Chow-chows, being an owner of these breeds at home. I am active in cynology many years, I‘ve bred more than 60 litters under my prefix "z Urozených". A kennel from which many sucessfull dogs came from. Currently I don´t breed because I am active in many cynological activities. Now I have a shorthaired female of Chow-chow as pet at home.
I am active in Great Danes Club, where I am a board member since 1982 and last 12 years a president. I am a member of judge comission of ČMKU (roof organization of Czech Rep. - member of FCI) allready 19 years, and last 12 years I am a chairman of the commission. 11 years ago I was elected to board of ČMKU and then as a vice-president of this organisation.
My motto is "Let kynology to be a hobby for everybody forever"
