As we hold our second straight "virtual meeting" we continue to remain hopeful for a return to in-person activity in the fall, as the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the State System and the university ' s Emergency Management Committee work hard to put safety protocols in place for the "new normal." We are also hopeful that our home county of Berks continues move toward the Green phase, after moving to the Yellow phase last Friday.

On behalf of the trustees, he endorsed support of the university in reject ing social injustice. He also wanted our students of color to know that the Coc.nci! of Trustees stand behind them, and that we DO feel that black lives matter. We are committed to supporting President Hawkinson and the university community in identifying and implementing the changes to make Kutztown University a welcoming place for all.
