Kuwait Weekly Update Research Market Performance: The Kuwaiti market closed on a negative note this week. The Price index was down -0.34%, closing at 6,..8.1 points. The Weighted index gained 0.65%, closing at 412.43 points. Liquidity levels improved during the week. Value traded was up 5.1%. The market traded 1.54 Bn shares with a value of KWD 175.2 Mn. Sector Performance This week‟s traded value was derived from activities on the Services sector 28.6% contribution, followed by Investment and Real Estate with, 22.1% and .8.7% respectively. HITS Telecom Holding took 7.9% of the total (KD 13.7mn), and closed up 1.9%. Zain Group followed with 6.7% of the total (KD11.7mn) and closed up 4.3% to 730 fils Loser, winners 132 companies were traded during the week out of which 45 closed positive, 60 were negative and 27 unchanged. National Ranges Company was the biggest gainer by booking a return of 33.3% and closing at 20 fils. On the other side of the spectrum, Al Imtiaz Investment Company was the biggest loser; the stock declined by 12.5% to 112 Fils. Kuwait Weekly Update Research

Market Performance:

The Kuwaiti market closed on a negative note this week. The Price index was

down -0.34%, closing at 6,..8.1 points. The Weighted index gained 0.65%, closing at 412.43 points. Liquidity levels improved during the week. Value traded

was up 5.1%. The market traded 1.54 Bn shares with a value of KWD 175.2 Mn.

Sector Performance This week‟s traded value was derived from activities on the Services sector
