Kongju National University ,now merged with CheonanEngineering College, has successfully the Tri-Campussystem connecting Gongju, Yesan and Cheonan regions, andis on the verge of achieving the era of having ‘one and onlyunified national university system in Chungnam Province’.

All four campuses of Kongju National University are in theclose proximity of the capital city of Korea, Seoul, allowinganyone to travel within one and half hours by car, train orany other public transportation.

Along with the future establishment of the GovernmentAdministrative Capital City in Gongju/Yeon-gi area, KongjuNational University now possesses limitless vision ofbecoming the one and only national university with multi-campus system fostering finest human resources at theheart of the administrative capital city in Korea.

The College of Education has inherited a long tradition from the Kongju National TeachersCollege which was the main institute in Korea for training secondary school teacher for 58 years.Since it was established in 1948, the College of Education has had 18,000 graduates and hasgained a nationwide reputation for producing quality teachers in secondary education. It offers itscourses in 22 departments. It is the biggest national college of education with a quota of 567students. It was chosen as the best college by the Ministry of Education in the nationwideevaluation of education colleges.

The College of Industrial Sciences is located in Yesan, the central part of western Chungnam Province,and trains elite students who will lead the future industry at well-equipped facilities in a 66,1157campus. We have established various departments with the emphasis on Bioengineering andIndustrial Sciences. Also, sister school agreements and mutual research exchange programs with 22colleges in 8 different countries have been established. The college is actively performing internationalexchange programs.
