Modular DesignThe Kona Series features a streamlined approach to design that uses many of the same components across all models within the range, simplifying both manufacturing and installation.

Stability & StrengthFeatures UV, chemical and moisture resistant Dyneema® tape connection over the elbow and arm brackets, improving the stability and strength of the awning. Dyneema tape is 15 times stronger than steel and 40% stronger than aramids on a weight-for-weight basis. Heavy-duty springs provide excellent fabric tension.

Impressive CoverageHeavy-duty retractable arms allow spans of up to 7 metres in width and projection of up to 4 metres for a single awning. This great coverage ensures no posts or structures are required to support these awnings.

Easy InstallationKona Awnings can easily be installed directly onto the wall or under the eaves. Flexible roof brackets are also available.

Kona Classic - KCWidth from 1.99m to 7.0m per unit

Available with a range of accessories that can be customised to suit almost any situation. Utilising simple square bar installation, this product is easy to fit in a variety of different locations.

Kona Design - KDWidth from 1.99m to 7.0m per unit

Showcases quality European style with designer finishes, such as the pressure die casted end brackets.

Kona Cross-Over - KXWidth from 1.13m to 4.6m per unit

Ideal for narrow spaces. It features cross-over arms enabling a larger projection on a narrow width awning creating the same outdoor shade solution as offered by wider awnings.

Kona Rise - KRWidth from 2.05m to 7.0m per unit

Features a fabric beam creating additional clearance under the inner part of the arm, allowing space for doors.

Kona SeriesKona Access - KAWidth from 1.75m to 5.0m per unit

Perfect for small areas, this entry level folding arm awning features compact and non-obtrusive components. A classic design in an elegant open roller style awning.

Kona Semi-Cassette V2 - KS2Width from 1.955m to 7.0m per unit

Features a slimline hood and deep front bar to achieve a contemporary and premium appearance. The compact semi-enclosure design provides superior fabric protection.

KF - KONA Full CassetteWidth from 2.5m to 7.0m per unit

Retracts into a fully enclosed headbox providing the ultimate in hardware and fabric protection. Convenient installation brackets are available that can be fitted anywhere along the back of the awning.

The pitch of the KF Awning can be adjusted at the time of installation, allowing the awning to be set at the optimal level based on the sun’s location.

Impressive CoverageMost full-cassette folding arm awnings are restricted to 6m

due to the level of strain on the cassette housing.

The KF Awning utilises heavy duty components & profiles to ensure the awning is strong & robust for

applications up to 7 metres.

Operating Options

Crank ControlColour matched to hardware, crank handles provide easy manual operation. Available in a choice of lengths (0.8m, 1.2m, 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.4m) each with ergonomic handles for a comfortable grip.

MotorisationPowered by an efficient Merger folding arm awning motor. Available with a range of different remote control options including:

• Single channel remote for 1 awning

• 4 or 8 channel remote for multiple awnings

• Timer remote with 4 channels.

Added Feature: Waterproof ConnectorThe Merger FAA motor features an in-line IP68 waterproof connector ensuring that moisture and dust does not damage the motor, making it a durable and long lasting external motor solution.

Bonus Option: SensorsFor the ultimate in convenient smart operation, add a motion or sun and wind sensor.

These clever solar-powered, wireless sensors can be programmed to automatically open the awning when the sun reaches a certain level, or retract the awning in windy conditions.

If the sensor battery depletes, the awning will retract notifying you it is time to replace the battery.

Telescopic SupportAllows the awning to be projected and secured in windy conditions. By stabilising the front bar, less strain is put on the hardware therefore extending the awning’s life and increasing its wind resistance. With removable feet and front rail clip, the telescopic poles collapse for easy storage when not in use.

Roller ValanceCreate an additional front fabric drop for maximum shade protection. Partnered with sunscreen fabric the valance can accommodate a drop of up to 2.1m and is operated by a manual crank.

Pitch ControlA range of -5° to -40° projection angle control is available depending on the model. Operation is simple with our unique easy-tilt function allowing adjustment when the awning is projected.

Rain HoodProvides great fabric protection from external elements assisting with fabric longevity.

Awnings must be mounted with the right amount of installation brackets and with suitable fasteners in order to match the specified wind classes. It is recommended that all awnings be retracted in windy conditions.

The Kona Folding Arm Awning Series has undergone stringent wind load performance testing to adhere to European ‘EN 13561’ Standard to meet wind ratings of up to Class 2 (equivalent to 5 on Beaufort scale) depending on model no. and size.
