Next, you authentica-te yourself by entering the correct PIN, and after just a few seconds, your high security data safe will be available to you accessible by an own drive letter - just as a normal hard drive. If you now transfer data onto this drive it will be deposited in highly secure form on your KOBIL mIDentity Basic, encrypted by the Smart Card. Since data access is subject to correct PIN ent-ry, KOBIL mIDentity would continue to provide secure protection even if the device was irre-trievably lost. With your data safely aboard, you can insert your KOBIL mIDentity Basic into any client USB port, and your mobile data safe and its data will be available to you as soon as you enter your PIN – all this without any pre-installation.
