DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGIES
Smarter Pest Identification Technology (SPId Tech)
- Application that uses pest photos for pest identification, and for providing farmers with immediate management recommendations
SARAI Cost-Efficient Soil Moisture Monitoring System
for Soil Water Deficit
Cost-Efficient Soil Moisture Monitoring System
Meter: P1,200 to P1,500/unitGypsum Block: P30 to P35/piece
- Used for monitoring soil moisture content which will serve as basis for irrigation application
DEVELOPED SYSTEMS

GROWTH REQUIREMENTS• Elevation: 0 – 500 meters above
mean sea level• Slope: 0 – 3%• Soil: clay, clay loam, loam, loamy
sand, sandy clay, sandy clay loam, sandy loam, silt loam, silty clay, and silty clay loam
Elevation Map
Elevation can be categorized as highly suitable (EL1), moderately suitable (EL2), and marginally suitable (EL3).
Slope Map
Slope can be categorized as highly suitable (SL1), moderately suitable (SL2), and marginally suitable (SL3).
Soil Map
Soil texture can be categorized as highly suitable (Soil1), moderately suitable (Soil2), and marginally suitable (Soil3).
Cross-tabulating the elevation, slope, and soil suitability maps, a cross-classification image is generated wherein the different suitability levels, with their limitations can be determined.
Land Cover Map
The Land Cover Map from satellite image interpretation is used to create a Boolean map that would eliminate urban, water, and forest areas from the suitability maps.
