What is Knowledge portal?What is Knowledge portal? Knowledge portal provides a single point of access to the tacit

and explicit knowledge that support members of the institutions or organizations in all aspects of their learning, teaching, working, research and other activities.

It offers various internal, external resources with other services which encompass and management of books, journals, databases, Web-sites, learning objects, library catalogue, email, forums, lesson learned, best practices and experiences of individual.

It contains intelligent agent software to identify and automatically distribute information and knowledge effectively to knowledge workers based on knowledge profile
