Pathway Classes Pathway classes are biblical education opportunities for you to pursue knowing Christ better. Check out the classes below. Precepts Class will begin an in depth study on Esther starting, February 13. This class meets Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please contact Katrina Rainey for more info at 360-608-1293.
Financial Peace University: Dave Ramsey finance class, will be starting February 10, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please visit our website for more info, or contact Jason Saunders at [email protected]. Registration is available in the lobby.

Men’s Ministry Men’s Monday Camaraderie Group on ‘The Search for Truth in Romans.’ Mondays from 7:00-9:00 a.m. in the church gym, breakfast is included! Come and go as your schedule allows. Please enter the building through the east side metal doors next to the church kitchen (NE corner of building). Women’s Ministry Precept Bible Study: Have you been wanting to try a precepts study? Class meets on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00 p.m. For more information please contact Katrina Rainey (360)608-1293. Thursday Morning Bible Study Thursday Mornings, at 9:30 a.m. We are continuing our study of those present on the Mount of Transfiguration with an in-depth look into the life of Moses. Childcare provided. For more information email Robin Rowe at [email protected] Friday Morning Bible Study: Join us Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. We are looking into Psalm 119. For information, call Jan Wyninger at 360-521-1736. Mom’s Play Group meets every Monday morning from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Gym at Gateway. You are invited to join with other moms and their little ones to play and visit in a dry and secure place. Mom’s Group is now searchable on Facebook as ‘Mom's Play Group at Gateway.’ You can also contact Heather Bruns at [email protected]. Prayer Shawl Group meets every Monday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Women’s Conf. Rm. Join a great group of ladies who knit and crochet prayer shawls for people in the Gateway family. Grow Groups Grow Groups are the place we cultivate spiritually encouraging relationships. We desire everyone at Gateway to have a group to call their own—a place to feel at home. Get in a group! Create a group! A New Open-House Grow Group Has Started! : This group is held at Mary and David Lindell’s House, every Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please come and go as your schedule allows. All are welcome to join this new open-house Grow Group to encourage one another, develop close relationships, and to be in the Word of God together. Please contact Pastor Gary for more info. Family Promise: Gateway is hosting Family Promise this week, February, 2-9. You can help by donating needed supplies and/or volunteering to help. Please contact Pastor Ken at [email protected] or Val Alexander at [email protected] for more information.
Hospitality: Did you know that our coffee team makes over 300 cups of coffee and tea and our greeters welcome an average of 550 attendees every weekend? It takes 20-25 volunteers per month to make this happen. Right now, we need two new coffee hosts and four new greeters to serve at our 5:00 p.m. services throughout the month. If you are 18 years or older and attend Gateway regularly, you’re invited to join our team. Training is provided! Contact [email protected] for more information.
Red Cross Blood Drive: Our next Blood Drive is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. As the date approached, you can make an appointment at redcrossblood.org. See A Need, Meet A Need: This simple program allows you to make known the practical needs of people in your life to the Gateway family. Then, if someone is able to meet that need, we’ll put you in touch. Call the church office to sign up to receive SANMAN emails. (Please note: we only communicate about people’s needs, not the availability of your used items. Other organizations exist for this purpose.) Gateway Updates: If you would like last-minute and emergency Gateway news sent to your phone, sign up for our texting service. Simply text the word “gateway” to 88202 and you will start receiving these major announcements and last-minute schedule changes.
Devoted to Prayer Women in Prayer: Join us Feb. 6, at 12:00 p.m., as we focus on praying for: Our children, the youth of Gateway, our community and our church community. God hears and answers prayer! Moms in Prayer-Stevenson: This moms prayer group prays for Stevenson students. Contact Brigitte Barnes at (503) 481-1124 for directions and more information. The Prayer Update: Subscribe to our email Prayer Update, and we’ll send you prayer requests for the things happening at Gateway each week. Join Our Five-Year Goal In the next five years we will walk alongside Jesus with a devotion that increasingly patterns our lives after His. By following in His steps, His love will compel us to diligently pursue gospel conversations with the people of Washougal and Camas. We believe these conversations will create a community-wide gospel consciousness that represents a monumental step toward God for our families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
Annual Celebration Our Annual Celebration is going to be held at Gateway Church this year, on February 23, from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Our church family will enjoy a pot-luck lunch together. Please bring a main dish and a side dish or a dessert to share. Everyone is welcome to join, while members are encouraged to attend as we take a look back at the blessings of 2019 and vote on new Deacons and the 2020 budget.
Children’s Ministries Kid’s Church: This week we hear the story of Esther. Kid’s Church takes place right after congregational singing, upstairs in the Student Worship Center. Club W: February clubs start this Tuesday! Sign-ups will begin at 6:15 p.m. Club W is where elementary age kids explore God’s Word and his world through Bible teaching and hobby based clubs. It runs Tuesday evenings from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. throughout the school year.
Welcome to Gateway! Thank you for joining us as we worship God, study the Word, and fellowship together this weekend. Whether you’re new to Gateway or have been attending for many years, our passionate prayer is that our time together will help you take the next step in your relationship with Jesus Christ and experience the benefits of being part of a spiritual family. Student Ministries Winter Camp 2020: February 14-17. The cost is now $125 but there are still spaces available. Register Now! All 6th-12th grade students are welcome! Small Groups are meeting tonight! Wednesday Night Youth Group: Most Wednesday Nights from 7:00-8:30p.m. at Gateway. Worship, games, teaching for middle school and high school students. We are continuing our teaching series talking about what God is like. Sunday Night Dinners: Grow Groups or groups of friends who would be eager to provide dinner for our students on a Sunday Night. Check with Pastor Mathias or Lexi Murray for more info.
