On the occasion of World Diabetes Day Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute organized a diabetes awareness programme.

Considering this year’s theme of World Diabetes Day -“Family and Diabetes”, it was organized on a large scale to ensure

more awareness. Doctors at Hospital involved themselves in the programme and tried their level best to spread awareness

on this diseases. The prgoramme was started at 10: 00 am, the stage and its theme was chosen to be blue to give a distinct

dedicated coloured effect for the Diabetes day. Endocrinologists and other specialists actively participated in it and made

this event a grand success. Dr. Saket Kant, Senior Endocrinologist, Dr. Sudhir Shera, Dr. Arvind Agrawal, Dr. Manisha Arora,

Dr. H K Singh, Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Narendra Kumar and other team of experienced doctors shared their knowledge and

answered the questions by the public ,during the programme and guided about precautions to be taken in order to reduce

the risk of diabetes. Every participant in the programme was given assured gifts, at the same time people who answered

the questions prepared by the medical team of the hospital were rewarded with surprise gifts. People were enlightened

with the knowledge and awareness provided on the diabetes. Around 200 persons participated in the games,like Hoopla,

diabetes awareness fun game, organized by the hospital team. Healthy refreshments, like brown bread vegetable

sandwich, sugar free tea and sugar free protein shakes, were given to the participants. The programme was a success and

an essential step to bring down the rising number of diabetes patients .

Department of laboratory medicine, Action Cancer Hospital has started the advance molecular lab on 28th november 2019.

The lab was inaugurated by Shri Raj Kumar Gupta ji, president of action group of hospital, dr. deepika singhal, shri R C Charria ji

board members and Medical Director Dr. Anand Bansal, Dr. Asha Aggarwal, Dr. Sunil Sumbali respective medical

superintendents of both the hospital. Dr. Naveen Aggarwal HOD department of laboratory sciences of ACH had ensured the

precise results of this new and advance facility. This has given the exceptional strength to our oncology fraternity to treat the

patients with best of precise diagnosis.
