Kittens have different needs at different ages, so follow the chart below to see what kittens need in a kit.* Start with a cardboard carrier and get building! Tip: not sure how old the kittens are?

*These suggested quantities are based on the typical needs of one kitten for two weeks. The above chart is a guide, as kitten needs may vary. (For example, as kittens wean at 4-5 weeks, they may need a combination of kitten milk replacer and wet food.)

Alley Cat Allies’ Kitten Care Kits were developed in partnership with the Animal Coalition of Tampa and the Pet Resource Center—Tampa, Florida’s local shelter. The shelter hands out Kitten Care Kits, equipping citizens with specialized items to help them care for kittens as a fosterer. Fewer tiny kittens coming into the shelter means more lives are saved!
