Anna and Yair

Anna and Yair are getting married on May 30, 2013 in a sunset wedding at an organic garden in Jerusalem. The wedding will be quite Israeli, under a Huppah, and with the traditional breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony. The difference is that Yair is a Jewish Believer in Yeshua (Jesus) and Anna is a Believer as well. It is their desire to be a testimony of faith to their 300 “20 somethings” Israeli wedding guests from Army and school. ...continued on page 2.

Anna and Yair continued...

Both the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Yair Pinto are “sabras” meaning they were born in Israel. He, 25, was an officer in the Tanks Division of the Israel Defense Forces and remains a reserve officer today, and Anna, 22, was a Hummer Tank Instructor. They were introduced by mutual friends.

The couple will make Jerusalem their home, and spend the next years studying International Relations in University while Yair maintains a full time job with a Messianic TV production company.

Mom and Dad regard the match as a “needle in the hay stack” answer to many many prayers since Anna’s infancy. Imagine, there are only approximately 15,000 born again Jewish believers in Israel. How many of them are in their 20’s, and then how many of that group are a compatible match for the unique backgrounds of Anna and Yair. Only God !

Please pray that the example and witness they have shown thus far in their lives will only grow and mature as they become the next generation serving the Lord in Israel.

Tim and Martha hosted e ver yone , including heads of six other local Jerusalem ministries for a meal and discussion. The evening ended in prayer as the the YWAM team prayed for the Israel leaders.

Martha And Her ArtWho would have ever thought that a childhood dream would become a “passion” and actually serveas a great outreach tool in Israel? Martha regularly paints with a group of students in Jerusalem and never misses a chance to use art as a medium to explain her Faith. “To live is to dream, and to dream is to live,” has become an operative slogan for all that she paints. It goes on from there.

“Van Gogh Alive” was an unusual and inspiring art exhibition at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds last month. Works by the famous “Master,”were projected on multiple giant screens of all sizes and shapes in one of the pavilions. The multi-media presentat ion , wi th a dynamic selection of appropriate classical music, included the best of Van Gogh’s work. One simply stood in the center of the room as art “exploded” all around you. Martha and Tim made this one of their “dates” out of Jerusalem and it was simply spectacular. Treats on the Mediterranean waterfront followed.

Tim attends ICCC (International Christian Chamber of Commerce) Conference in Jerusalem

Left: Tim meets with delegates from China at the ICCC Conference in Jerusalem. They had a lot to talk about with regards to International business, as well as audio Bibles, audio Scripture engagement, and the new ministry Tim is involved with called Davar Partners International. Davar works with ministries around the globe who are seeking to find solutions for the over 80% of the world that doesn’t read, or chooses not to. Delegates at the Conference were chal lenged to go beyond comfortable boundaries in our business and ministry lives as this age races to a dramatic close.
