Offer an Apology Make a Rescue Box*

Find a cardboard box and
make small holes on the
top and sides with the
help of an adult.
Apologize to an animal by
saying, "I am sorry for
treating you unfairly. You
deserve to be happy and
safe, just like me!"
*SPECIAL NOTE
If you find an animal shivering, crying, limping,
bleeding, not moving when you get closer, or is a
baby bird alone under a nest, ask an adult to call
Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre (613-354-0264) or
your local wildlife hospital to learn how you can
help that animal. Have a rescue box ready to go, so
the animal can be safely moved to the Wildlife
Centre if needed.
