Playground Supervision 8:10am - 2:45pm

(2:30 during job action)

A reminder to our families that our staff is not on supervi-sion until 8:10 each morning. We ask students who arrive earlier, before 8:10, to wait at the front of the school or in the foyer until a supervisor is present.

After school, supervision ends at the 2:45 bell (2:30 during job action) to signal that students should head home. If still waiting for pick-up, we ask that those stu-dents report to the office. If walking, students should head home no later than 2:45 (2:30). Once home, they require parental permission to come back and play, and they would then be under their family’s supervision. Stay & Play Parents—thank you for “gathering” your children to you at the 2nd bell so we can ensure every-one is attached to an adult before completing our sweep.

NGE Website Scavenger Hunt Winners:

Update our E-Mail List! Most of our home / school communication is now on-line!

If you haven’t been receiving our school emails over the past month, please ensure that we have your current email on file at the office.

Sorry…. No Dogs Allowed!

A reminder that dogs are not allowed any-where on School District property at any time. We ask that you leave your dogs at home for both health and safety reasons. Please remind your neigh-bours— our children play on the fields that they are us-ing as a dog park!

Head Lice Checks! A reminder to check your children’s heads regularly for the pres-

ence of head lice. There is no predicting when, where or how these little critters will show up—diligent checks are our best prevention! For more information on what to look for, contact our office. Be sure to report any cas-es of head lice immediately to your school.

Help us protect our school from vandalism!

Please phone the RCMP if you witness any suspicious activity on our school grounds after hours and on weekends (e.g. people on the roof, large gather-ings in the playground). We are working hard to keep our school site a safe place at all times.
