Kara’s Korner A Message from your Children’s Pastor—
Crossroads Kidz Ministry has had an eventful sum-mer thus far! Go the Dis-tance Sports Camp was a huge success. 197 kids participated. We had a great time learning about the life of Paul, singing songs, memorizing scrip-ture, and learning our sport. Then, our pre-schoolers had their very own VBS! 45 little ones took the plunge with Je-sus, learning about obedi-ence, courage, and wor-ship.
I would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to the 65 volunteers that helped with sports camp,
and the many volunteers who helped with the pre-school only VBS. You all are greatly appreciated.
I am excited about this year’s kids camp, Ex-treme Daze! Commander Frog and I have decided to merge Royal Ranger camp and kids camp and have our first ever Cross-roads Kidz Ministry only kids camp at Camp Simp-son in Bromide, Ok. Camp will be an exciting 3 day event for kids ages 8-12 and the cost is only $30. Kids can enjoy ac-tivities like canoeing, kay-aking, swimming, and paddle boats.
Pastor Mike Dsane will be our special speaker. It will be hot! But, we pray that all our kids will return “Fired Up” for Jesus! We want to constantly remind our kids that we want to live an Extreme life for Jesus Christ and be in a Daze for Him and Him alone.
Read pg. 2 for more de-tails.
When I first worked with children, I was rather ap-prehensive. I had never been fully exposed to the level of activity they en-joy. Honestly, it stressed me out! The constant run-ning and questions, Oh the questions children ask! Their inquisitive nature has been a real driving force for my growing love
for children. My fears I pos-sessed before vanquished when I realized the potential teaching experiences I had at my disposal.
I can honestly say that Sun-day mornings have become one of the most rewarding activities I take place in. I used to sit quietly in Sunday school, but now I teach them and I see the impact I've had
on the boys . From just feeling like I was the sound guy in KIDMOTION, to really leading these kids in worship, I am able to see these children worship un-abashedly and it is one of the most life giving activities I partake in. I look forward to many more Sundays of pure enjoyment from your chil-dren.

BABIES ON BOARD-Blooming in the Son!
The babies are learning many
exciting events in the Bible this
summer.
In the 10-18 month room, the
babies will learn the importance
of church and the Bible. They
will learn that we love going to
church and we love our Bibles.
We have the babies hold their
Bibles up to their cheek and rub
them. They also learn that they
sing and play at church and have
friends at church.
In the 19-23 month room, the
babies will learn that God cre-
ated the food that we eat and
He created the sun, moon,
stars, and the pretty flowers.
In the 2 year old room, the
Babies will learn about Abraham,
Joseph, and baby Moses. The
memory verses they will be re-
citing are Hebrews 11:6 "Faith
Pleases God.", 1 Peter 5:7 "God
cares for you.", and Isaiah
41:10 "Fear not for I am with
you."
