"THE I.P.S." (Insect Protection System) is made of 1.9 oz nylon “no-see-um” mesh material, designed to be attached on top of the standard Military cot or used as a stand-alone shelter. A rain fly is provided, which clips to the corners of the unit, providing privacy as well as protection from inclement weather. The I.P.S. is compact and lightweight. The entire unit folds up and fits inta a carrying case 6" x 6" x 14". Weighing less than three pounds, it can easily be stored in a rucksack.

The Desert Sand colored Military Tent Cot is constructed of lightweight, heavy duty 25 mm alumi-num tubing. It comes equipped with a strong "no-see-um" mesh netting at each of the four window and door openings and the heavy duty zippers are corrosion resistant nickel sliders.

It features a sturdy aluminum frame which supports up to 450 pounds. Heavy-duty washable mesh fabric covers the cot frame, and two buckled straps provide safety and security for the patient. The innovative design allows both the “head” and "foot" of the cot to be elevated, providing added versatility. Similar in design to the Original Tent Cot, it combines two separate, standard camping items in one package, complete with a rain fly. The upper portion, or tent top, of the CCTC is completely detachable from the cot base. Once removed from the cot base, it becomes a “compact” lightweight, easily transportable “one person” on the ground tent. Likewise, the “CCTC” design enables the cot base to be used separately as a typical stand-alone sleeping cot, performing the job of two completely separate shelter/sleep units. Extremely compact, the “CCTC” folds to 6”x8”x40”, is easily transported and stores conveniently in its own personal carry bag.
